Tried to keep the draft as predictable as possible filling holes rather than crazy trades and strange picks.

Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Cleveland goes for Darnold highest ceiling QB in the draft. He can sit behind Tyrod Taylor and work on his decision making.

2. Bills: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

With no real starting QB on roster the Bills take the most NFL ready QB in the draft.

3. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Understudy to McCown and Bridgewater. Baker will learn how to behave like an NFL QB then battle Bridgewater for the starting job for the 2019 season.

4. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Best player in the draft falls to Cleveland at 4 after passing on him at 1. Browns take Barkley because he's the best RB prospect since Gurley and without the injury concerns. Paring Barkley with with Hyde and Johnson instantly gives Cleveland the best backfield in the league and keeps injury concerns of Hyde being the premier back out of mind.

5. Broncos: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Case Keenum looks to be the guy in Denver so they take Nelson to protect their new QB and help establish the run game more.

6. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

After taking Malik Hooker last year the Colts continue to improve on defense bringing in an amazing pass rushing talent to pressure the QB opposite Jabaal Sheard.

7. Buccaneers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

The TJ Ward experiment failed its time to take the best overall DB in the draft who can form a great secondary with Grimes and Hargreaves.

8. Bears: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

With no clear O linemen to take this high the Bears get the LB they've been lacking since Urlacher's retirement. Paired with their solid secondary the Bears defense looks to be very solid and a good compliment for the new offense.

9. 49ers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Ward is the best pure CB in the draft. With QB figured out and a stellar front 7 pairing Ward with Sherman and company creates a legitimate shut down defense.

10. Raiders: Da'Ron Payne, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Due to free agency Oakland is set at linebacker, the offense looks fine with the line, Carr, Lynch/Richard, Cooper/Jordy, and Cook. The secondary is fine with Conley, Joseph, and Obi Melifonwu.

Note: Could also see Josh Jackson being taken to help with the size of WRs in the division (Williams SD, Thomas DEN)

11. Dolphins: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

With the departure of Timmons and the return of Tannehill holes have changed in Miami. Linebacker is a huge need, Edmunds has the twitch and pure physicality just needs to work on not taking himself out of plays by being overly aggressive.

12. Giants: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Giants get their future franchise QB after trading down. Got an extra pick and an understudy for Eli.

13. Redskins: Vita Vea, Defensive Tackle, Washington

Finish bulking up the defense with more help on the line. Barring any injuries Washington is playoff ready.

14. Giants: Will Hernandez, Offensive Guard, UTEP

Giants trade back up to get protection for Eli and eventually Allen as well as to help the running backs a position they'll addressing the 2nd round.

15. Cardinals: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

With Bradford QB isn't a huge need, Larry isn't getting any younger and setting up a young QB; who will be taken later in the draft or next season, with a top target to go to will do them well. Also, after Larry's retirement the offense would have become completely one dimensional.

16. Ravens: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

After not really getting any WRs in free agency the Ravens get a new number 1 target for Flacco as his window beings to close.

Picks 1-16
