Done over again. Doing some more realistic trades.

Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

I wish they would trade back but I doubt they will. They want to take their QB of the future and many believe that is Allen or Mayfield. This all sounds like a smokescreen to get a trade but who knows. I do not agree and wish they would trade back but I doubt it. Tyrod could help them.

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

It is a lot more realistic for the GIants to trade back than the Browns. They get the player they really want here and get the successor late. Giants really want Darnold and it is well known. He could go to the Giants but I think they trade back with someone and ride out manning. They can trade back in the 1st. Mason is someone to watch for.

3. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Darnold is considered the consensus 1 and I think he will go here. Jets are so desperate for a QB. Giants could take a QB so I think they take one here. Trading back and likely still getting their QB would be good for the Giants.

4. Browns: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Browns are in a great position to get Guice or Chubb which some feel are pretty close to Barkley in the second. They get bradley instead. I do not think they trade.

5. Bills: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

I think the bills trade up and get rosen. It would make no sense for him to slide more.

6. Colts: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Browns and Giants snipe the 2 best players and leaves the colts with the last of the big 3 elite players in the draft. I could see Saquon and Chubb being in here also. They want a run game and have tried and failed to recreate one. They need to protect Luck which is part of the reason why he was injured. I think they might trade out but with who.

7. Buccaneers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The need is there and so is the talent. This should be easy. A perfect match with Florida man in Florida.

8. Bears: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

Bears ended up shoring up offensive weapons and take a versatile defensive back as they need all kinds of help there. This or minkah makes sense. Ward is being called a top 5 pick in the draft.

9. Cardinals: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Trade- 49ers get another team to trade with them for a QB. Not like they absolutely needed this spot as their player will be available later. Cardinals are desperate for a QB of the future.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Raiders do not find a trade partner and get their rumored bpa.

11. Dolphins: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Dolphins are sad they lost out on their player. Well all their players as everyone traded ahead to get their guy. Dolphins still get a great player for the defense and one of the top players.

12. Packers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

They steal this player from the redskins in the trade ahead. Rumors are they trade ahead for their guy. They like Alabama DBs.

13. Redskins: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

I do not think they go after a QB and will ride out Alex smith. They need some line protection and this is the answer. He fits in mid to late first round.

14. Broncos: Vita Vea, Defensive Tackle, Washington

Trade back and more as they need a lot of pieces. This is a great player that fell from the madness and nothing else.

15. 49ers: D.J. Moore, Wide Receiver, Maryland

49ers accumulate picks and get a good weapon for their new QB.

16. Ravens: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

An extremely talented player that fell way too far in the madness. Fits a need.
