Round 1

1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Most likely, Cleveland will opt to take a passer after going with the best player available 1st overall last year. The only real question is which QB they're going to take, but most people have them going with Darnold.

2. Giants: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

As GM of the panthers, Gettleman loved to invest in D-linemen, and Chubb would be a solid fit for their scheme.

3. Colts: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

The colts desperately need help on the outside as they transition into a new defensive scheme.

4. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Perfect scenario for the browns, as they get the best player in the draft to fall into their lap. Barkley is the closest thing to a perfect prospect since Luck came out, but because he's a running back teams are going to (unfairly) de-value him.

5. Broncos: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Unless they land Cousins, Denver is assuredly going to take a passer here. Mayfield has been called the best QB in this class by the analytics at PFF, and for good reason. He's accurate from all levels and unlike Manziel, he can work from the pocket. He showed up big against BIG 10 and SEC defenses last year.

6. Jets: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

The Jets get their franchise signal caller in Rosen. Rosen easily has the cleanest mechanics of any passer in the draft. He also has experience working in a pro style offense. IMO he's the only bonafide day 1 starter in this QB class, and his flaws are few and far between.

7. Buccaneers: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Bucs need o-line help, and they get one of the cleanest O-line prospects of the past decade in Nelson. He projects to be an all-pro.

8. Bears: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

With departures in the secondary coming up in free agency, the Bears snag a future #1 CB. Not the best athlete, but Jackson has great ball skills and excels in off-coverage with the strength to play press.

9. 49ers: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Rueben Foster might not be around for long, so it's time for the 49ers to find some insurance.

10. Raiders: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

Lost out on the Roquan sweepstakes, but they get a player with better tools and a higher ceiling. Edmunds can also help bolster Oakland's pass-rush.
