Round 1

Picks 1-16
2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

The Giants SHOULD go QB here but word on the street is that they won't. If they go QB here it will be Darnold or Rosen.

3. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Jets are in desperate need of a franchise QB. Gotta get their man. Will most likely be Baker if the Browns don't take him at number one

4. Browns: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The Browns have a large collection of picks this year, and this is the year to make 'em. I expect them to take their favorite QB at number one and get a nice compliment to Myles Garrett.

5. Broncos: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

A few insensitive tweets from his high school days won't impact Josh Allen's draft status. Elway finally gets his guy at QB. Allen has a big arm and a big chip...Elway probaly sees a lot of himself in Allen.

6. Colts: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Possible trade down spot here for the Colts. Wouldn't be shocked if the Bills packaged the 12th and 22nd pick in order to move up to draft a QB. If so, Josh Rosen is the pick.

7. Buccaneers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The Bucs have a QB, great weapons, and some nice defensive pieces. Their biggest needs are pass rusher and defensive secondary.

8. Bears: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

The Bears have a nice mix of talent and youth. They got their future QB last year. This year they need their future leader of the defense.

9. 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Flat out one of the best players in the draft. I trust John Lynch to make the best selection of the players available.

10. Raiders: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

No brainer here for the Raiders. This pick will come down to Roquan Smith and Edmunds. Since Smith is already off the board, the pick is Edmunds. He's the total package at LB (and I'm a UVA fan!) and fits the Raiders' needs.

11. Dolphins: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Absolutely HUGE reach here but there is usually one team a year that does this in order to make a splash. I expect the Dolphins to draft the hometown kid to sell some tickets and give Jackson a real shot at being a QB in the NFL

12. Bills: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

The Bills will most likely package this pick and their 2nd first round pick to swap with the Colts and take Josh Rosen.

13. Redskins: Maurice Hurst, Defensive Tackle, Michigan

The Redskins have needs in the defensive front 7 and at WR. This is probably too high of a pick to go with WR here, but who knows. I expect them to take the best DT available. It's either Hurst or Via

14. Packers: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

Gotta sure up the defensive secondary. At this point, Jackson is the best CB left on the board. No brainer to me.

15. Cardinals: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

This pick depends on which QBs are still on the board (if any). Wouldn't be shocked to see Lamar go here if the Dolphins pass on him

16. Ravens: Mike Gesicki, Tight End, Penn State

Been awhile since the Ravens have had a true playmaker at TE. After Gesicki's combine, I doubt the Ravens pass on him at this point in the draft.
