Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

You could argue that the Browns could go Barkley here, but they need a Franchise QB (Imagine that). I'd say Rosen is more NFL ready than Darnold but who knows if he actually wants to play here, get the next best option in Darnold.

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

To me the Giants either pick Rosen or Barkley, however Eli still has possibly 2 more years and the Giants need a play making RB. What better way than possibly getting the best RB Prospect since Adrian Peterson.

3. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The Colts need a stud defensive player and Chubb is a dominant pass rusher. He makes the most sense for them.

4. Browns: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Browns need to utilize their draft picks wisely. Wasn't a fan of the Peppers pick last year but they can rebound with solid DB in Fitzpatrick. However, I can see a trade down here but in this case take the best available option.

5. Broncos: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Broncos need a QB and if they can't land Cousins then they should easily take Rosen.

6. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

No doubt the Jets need a QB, but who will they get. Can they land Cousins? If not which do they draft? I say they get Mayfield who can become a big play maker for a team that showed promise last season.

7. Buccaneers: Marcus Davenport, Defensive End, Texas-San Antonio

Could look at a RB but they need a pass rusher, I see them taking a chance on Davenport.

8. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

There is no question the need in Chicago is number 1 receiver for Trubisky. Ridley is the top Reciever and there should be no reason they don't take him here.

9. 49ers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

I wouldn't be shocked if the 49ers add offensive help for Jimmy Garoppolo but they have a big need at Corner and while Ward may not be a superstar corner he can certainly be a solid starter for them.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Corner class isn't a stellar as last season and while that is a need for the Raiders they need Linebackers. Smith has all the tools to be superstar in the NFL and this pick should be a no brainer.

11. Dolphins: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Nelson is the best Guard and a top 5 talent in this draft. Miami needs OL help and they are blessed with Nelson being available at pick 11.

12. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Can't see why the Bengals wouldn't take a Tackle at this pick. They need to protect Dalton and let Joe Mixon become a dominant runner. OL is major need.

13. Redskins: Vita Vea, Defensive Tackle, Washington

Could add a LB or a WR but Vita Vea could make their Defensive line dominant. They added Jonathan Allen last season and adding Vea would create a fantastic D Line especially with Ezekiel Elliott (and possibly Barkley) in the Division.

14. Packers: Isaiah Oliver, Cornerback, Colorado

Packers added Kevin King last season but more corner help wouldn't hurt as they still need it. Oliver is underrated and while they could go Josh Jackson i think they grab Oliver instead.

15. Cardinals: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Cardinals don't have a QB, could potentially trade up but in this case they a few options on the board with Allen, Jackson or Rudolph. I believe Allen is the best fit and Arizona gets potentially their Franchise QB.

16. Ravens: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

As a Ravens fan I know they need a WR but I'm not high on Sutton or Kirk and i think they can get WRs in day 2 or 3. RT isn't a big need but with Austin Howard about to turn 31 they need to get younger and can be alongside Ronnie Stanley as Franchise Tackles.
