Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

The Browns get their franchise QB they have sought after for years. Darnold had a bad year at USC but shows many skills of what it takes to be a star in the NFL.

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Barkley is the best offensive talent in this year's draft. The Giants have many needs they have to address but with new coach Pat Shurmur, they'll look to add a big offensive piece.

3. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The best defensive lineman in this draft. The Colts struggled mightly without their star QB this past season. This poor year will allow them to address the other side of the ball and strengthen their defense.

4. Browns: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Jabrill Peppers was drafted last year but struggled. The Browns use their second pick in the top 5 to help stop teams from teams throwing the ball against them constantly.

5. Broncos: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

The Broncos requested to coach Baker at the Senior Bowl. John Elway looks to finally have an answer to his mess at the QB position. Baker is considered to be a Day 1-2 player with more likely being a top pick with the Broncos coaching him.

6. Jets: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Rosen has claimed that he wants to go to the right team. The perfect fit will be in NY. Rosen had a great year in his last year at UCLA. However, comments like that go very far in determining character.

7. Buccaneers: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

The Buccaneers gave insight on their locker room by being the team for Hard Knocks last year. That gave many people reason to believe they may be a strong contender. WRONG. TB adds guard help to protect Winston.

8. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Chicago's best receiver last year was Kendall Wright with 614 yards and 1 TD. They add the Alabama WR to help their top pick last year grow and develop into a star.

9. 49ers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The 49ers were the talk of the town when it came to drafting a QB. That was the case until Jimmy G came to town. They add secondary help with Derwin James.

10. Raiders: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Oakland and San Francisco can swap picks due to a coin flip, either way, Oakland goes with another Buckeye corner in Ward. Ward had a great season and looks to continue his success on team that took a step back last year.

11. Dolphins: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Miami has a good group of linebackers but have certain players lack certain skills. Smith would bring 3 down ability to the Dolphins defense and would solidify Alonso, Timmons, and McMillan.

12. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Andy Dalton lost a lot of protection when Andrew Whitworth signed with the Rams last offseason. They find his replacement in the Tackle from Notre Dame.

13. Redskins: Da'Ron Payne, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Washington traded for Alex Smith, thus solving the question on Kirk Cousins and draft needs. DT Payne is the best available D lineman with this pick, helping Washington out in stopping the run.

14. Packers: Harold Landry, Defensive End, Boston College

The Packers defense has always been the weakest part of the team. Rodgers kept the team in games. When the Super-Winning QB went down with a broken collarbone. the weakness of the team hit the bright lights. Adding the BC LB, it helps what looks like a huge hole in the team.

15. Cardinals: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Arizona has been rumored to be in the market for a veteran QB to replace newly retired Carson Palmer. However, neither were able to reach a deal. Allen falls to them here at 15.

16. Ravens: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

Baltimore has had the same problem for many years ever since Anquan Boldin left. Baltimore barely missed the playoffs by yards. They could've used Sutton on the last drive due to the Campanaro injury on the kickoff.
