Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Since the Colts have Andrew Luck and the Browns have the 4th pick, they can be aggressive and take Saquon Barkley with the first pick. Isaiah Crowell is going into free agency and Barkley is a huge upgrade for them at the position.

2. Giants: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Even if Pat Shurmur wants to keep Eli Manning, the Giants still need a quarterback for the future. This pick comes down to Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen and frankly it depends on if the Giants want a pure pocket passer (Rosen) or a guy with mobility (Darnold). Pick here is Rosen as he fits slightly better in this offense then Darnold.

3. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The colts go best defensive player available with this pick (unless Barkley is here). Chubb gives the Colts the elite pass rusher that they have needed since Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney.

4. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

With the 4th pick the Browns select Sam Darnold and see if he can be the QB that saves Cleveland. Darnold paired with Barkley, Josh Gordan, Duke Johnson, David Njoku and some other weapons should be able to become a good offense next year.

5. Broncos: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

In this mock draft I am keeping Kirk Cousin on the Redskins until he actually leaves. Which means that Denver still needs a QB. I don't see John Elway picking Baker Mayfield with this pick just because I think he has a thing for 6'4'' or taller quarterbacks. So the Broncos select Josh Allen here, who has potential.

6. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

The Jets could use some offensive play makers and some defensive pieces but with Baker on the board I believe they jump on this pick. Baker has a chance to be the next great undersized QB in the league. he will need more weapons outside of Robby Anderson but if the Jets can build around him they might have something.

7. Buccaneers: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The Buccaneers were probably the NFL's biggest disappointment last year. They should have got rid of Dirk Koetter but they didn't. This years defensive end class is pretty deep so instead of giving them a DE, the Buccaneers will select the best offensive tackle in the draft. Jameis was sacked a lot last year and giving him a good left tackle will definitely help him.

8. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

The Bears need to get Mitchell Trubisky weapons on the outside. This years wide receiver class doesn't have the true number one guy like past drafts but Calvin Ridley is a good pick here.

9. 49ers: Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa

I know that the 49ers need to get Jimmy Garroppolo weapons on the outside, but they also need corner backs. Joshua Jackson is the best corner in the draft and putting alongside Ahkello Witherspoon could give the 49ers two good corner backs for the future.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

The Raiders need linebackers badly, NaVaorro Bowman can still play a little but he's just not the same player. Adding a guy like Roquan Smith would give the Raiders a sideline to sideline linebacker.

11. Dolphins: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

The Dolphins offensive line is terrible, even though they could use a linebacker with this pick. Adding Quenton Nelson who is the best guard in the class will help them a lot.

12. Bengals: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Just like the Dolphins the Bengals need help on the offensive line as well. Grabbing Connor Williams will help out whoever is the QB for next year.

13. Redskins: Vita Vea, Defensive Tackle, Washington

This pick is assuming that the Redskins keep Kirk Cousins. So with the 13th pick the Redskins select Vita Vea. Vea will help the Redskins stop the run as they struggled to throughout the year.

14. Packers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Alabama fans do not get mad at me for having Minkah at pick 14. He could have went to the 49ers with the 9th pick I just felt like corner was a bigger need than safety. Plus I see Minkah projecting better as a safety then a corner anyway. Either way the Packers would be ecstatic to get Fitzpatrick with he 14th pick as he can fit that Micah Hyde role for them.

15. Cardinals: Orlando Brown, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma

With all the big name quarter backs off the board, the Cardinals will just fill a need with this pick. Picking Orlando Brown will help their offensive line out.

16. Ravens: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

The Ravens need play makers to surround Joe Flacco. Alex Collins was pretty good last year so they don't need to pick a running back here. Instead they take Courtland Sutton with the 16th pick.
