FEB 18th...4 trades in round 1.... 1 trade in round 2... I think there will be lots of trading throughout this years draft ... Players and rankings will adjust once the combine and pro days conclude. Recent changes with some off the field news on a few players. Latest updates with F/A news. A few changes as we get closer to the combine.

Round 1

1. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Rare talent for the Browns. They would have a hard time getting him @ #4 so they grab the #1 ranked player on many boards.

2. Giants: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Last time the Giants had the #2 pick they went defense. BC is the next LT. They like D. Webb enough to be their next franchise QB. Eli plays another year in the big apple.

*Prior pick J.Rosen*

3. Dolphins: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

He just declared... possible he goes higher... strong upside so the Phins make their move. Has moments of great play and throws...moments where he looks very raw and stares down his receivers. This years QB class will be fluid leading up to draft day. R. Tannehill is average at best.

trade with colts

4. Browns: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Early report on the Browns QB. Smokescreen or real? Time will tell.
Not sure they will take him at #1. At #4 they might trade down.
Mel Kiper just put J. Allen @ #1... Other sites are saying S. Darnold.
Sr. Bowl was our 1st look @ J. Allen with better players to throw to. A few local fan scouts mentioned his Wyoming WR`s dropped TONS of well thrown balls. He was outstanding all week during the senior bowl. Most recent Browns news has B. Mayfield in the mix. Stay tuned as this changes each week. Even if they sign AJ. McCarron they draft a QB @ #4.

early rotoworld report

VIA TEXANS

5. Broncos: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

OT/OG later rounds. They have C. Kelly waiting in the wings. I see them keeping only 1 of the 3 QB`s that started in the 2017 season. Kirk Cousins could sign with them. Cap`n Kirk said he`d love to land with a winning team. Broncos...Vikings... or Jaguars could be his landing spot.

6. Jets: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Big time player for the big market Jets. Combine star will dazzle the Jets front office. Dynamic player with a high ceiling. Latest report showed his receivers dropped nearly 9% of his passes. His accuracy is better than his statistics showed.

7. Buccaneers: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Best OG in years and a perfect fit. Immediate impact for the Bucs. Draft is deep for them to get other needs in the later rounds.

*Prior pick B. Chubb*

8. Bears: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

Climbing boards by the week. Being compared to Anthony Barr, so he has great speed and talent. Look for them to draft a big WR in round 2. Possible they trade down for a QB needy team.

*Prior pick Q. Nelson*

9. 49ers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

BPA. D. James makes an instant impact @ SS for the Niners. E.Reid may move on in F/A so safety is a definite need. Another combine star in 2018.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Inside Linebacker, Georgia

Impact ILB. With his size he will be used all over the field. J. Gruden gets his D. Brooks. Raiders need playmakers all over on defense.

11. Colts: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

With S. Barkley gone @ #1...the Colts trade down and still get an impact player from the edge. Was the #1 ranked player early this season. If his baggage grows he could fall into RD2.

trade with miami.

12. Cardinals: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

C. Palmer is retiring as is B. Arians. They grab their future QB and hope he becomes a steal. The J. Rosen slide ends @ #12 with the Cards.

trade with cincy.

*Prior pick M. Rudolph*

13. Redskins: Orlando Brown, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma

They need an OT/OG. Many scouts see him as a possible OG. BIG o-line prospect to give their new QB protection. SS Cravens just announced he is returning for the 2018 season. Whether the team keeps him is up in the air.

14. Packers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Pack needs help all over. Smaller slot corners are becoming a vital need for the pass happy NFL. Dynamic skillset and motor.

*Prior pick T. Edmunds*

15. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Cincy trades down and grabs the top OT left on the board.

trade with cards.

16. Ravens: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

BBPA. Best Bama Player Available.
