Round 1

1. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

After his combine performance the Browns would have to be DUMB DUMB DUMB not to draft this guy. He has superstar written all over him.

2. Giants: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

New GM Gettleman gets ONE CHANCE here to take Eli's successor or trade that opportunity away. Obviously Allen has the biggest arm and the most upside and won't need to play for at least two more years. And, at only 21 years old, the Giants take the big arm and the big body.

3. Bills: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

***TRADE*** Buffalo sends TWO 1st Round selections PLUS 2nd Round selection and player to INDIANAPOLIS. The Buffalo GM will buy the media hype about the two Los Angeles area Quarterbacks, and he'll give up his draft haul to move up and take Sam Darnold, who will be a huge disappointment 'ala' Paxton Lynch.

4. Browns: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

The Browns will not not trade up. They will stay put and get the most accurate passer in College football to work in behind Tyrod Taylor.

5. Broncos: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

John Elway will buy the media hype as well and take Josh Rosen "the most pro-ready passer" LOL, and it will be like Paxton Lynch, all over again.

6. Jets: Ronald Jones II, Running Back, USC

With the MOST money under the cap in Free Agency, the Jets will make a HUGE offer to Kirk Cousins that no one else can match. And, with Matt Forte retiring, one of the stipulations of the Cousins deal (just like Jarvis Landry demanded a good QB in Cleveland) is that Cousins will demand a good RB.

7. Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The Bucs have TRIED TRIED TRIED in the last few years to add a good edge rusher and because of the frenzy to grab QB's and RB's here at the top of the draft, they will draft the first Defensive player.

8. Bears: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

They allowed Alshon Jeffrey to 'escape' to Philly, and they NEED a No. 1 WR.

9. 49ers: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

They signed Richard Sherman at CB and re-upped WR Goodwin's deal, and they can focus on getting a WR later, or they deal with it in free agency where Allen Robinson and other WR1's are. They really need help at Guard. Badly.

10. Raiders: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

The first pick of Jon Gruden's tenure will be the drafting of the ATHLETIC FREAK Tremaine Edmunds, who stands at 6'5" with 4.5 speed, so he can guard a TE, he can guard a RB, and he can guard a slot WR.

11. Dolphins: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Dolphins need HELP at Corner, since last year at this time, and Fitzy can play ANY POSITION in the Secondary. PERIOD.

12. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Tackle play has not been good, and they just got a new RB last year who could be pretty good if he just got a push in the Running game.

13. Redskins: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

Smith is probably a better LB than Edmunds overall, but not with the coverage skills on receivers. He is a fantastic tackler from sideline to sideline, though, and the Redskins need that.

14. Packers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

They drafted King at CB last year and then traded their other starting CB Randall to the Browns for QB Kizer (good deal for Cleveland).

15. Cardinals: D.J. Chark, Wide Receiver, LSU

The Cardinals will SIGN AJ McCarron in FA and so they will not be in the market for a QB. They will take a RISK on a VERY FAST and VERY BIG receiver. Chark is 6'4" tall and runs a 4.32 in the 40-yard dash.

16. Ravens: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Newsome has swung and struck out on WRs in the draft (Perriman) and in Free Agency. Ridley seems like a pretty sure thing to start and play a lot of snaps.
