3 rounds, trades

Round 1

1. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Cousins goes to Browns (see my rant why) This pick should be locked no one can afford it (or needs it)

2. Giants: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Some say Darnold but I think it is Rosen

3. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Here is the first pick where there is a possibility of a trade. The third pick is always expensive though, yet Colts can safely trade with either Broncos or Jets and still get one of their two main priorities. Trading the pick opens the floodgates to trades, keeping it will make Elway happy as he should be able to get wither Darnold (unlikely) or Allen. The Jets have the muscle to make the trade, but I don't think they do, neither do I think Elway moves up. Colts could take an Edge and my guess is that it is Chubb with Nelson having a shot too.

4. Broncos: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

FROM TB Most Trade Value Charts start having value here at pick 4, therefore the chances of a trade grow greatly beginning here. There are three likely candidates 1) Denver can protect its pick by moving up (but it will cost them more than I think they are hoping to pay) 2) The Bucs could take the offer from Buffalo, but it is slightly below trade value (though two picks should tempt them. 3) The Jets can also pull the trigger but with them I don't see as much urgency because I think they are not lusting any of the top QB's like Elway might. In the end I do think it is Elway but not just for the 3rd he wants to offer. Price 2018 3rd, 2019 4th

5. Browns: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

FROM TEXANS:This should be either Fitzpatrick to play corner or Ridley with an outside chance yet I'm going with Nelson, to protect Cousins. There is also a chance they take out the offer from Buffalo.

6. Buccaneers: Marcus Davenport, Defensive End, Texas-San Antonio

FROM DENVER This should be an Edge here and though I still have Key ahead of Davenport it is Davenport who has the BIG M (momentum) in his favor

7. Bills: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

FROM SF. It is really now or never for the Bills as they should want the only true cold weather QB and have the muscle to get him and his cannon arm. SF (who loves to trade) can get back the value (and more) of the trade with the Pats so this really makes sense and the numbers match. Price: Pick 17, Pick 25

8. Jets: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Well everything has worked out swimmingly for the Jets, now they just need to decide if it is Jackson or Mayfield. To be honest I have no idea which one they choose....(we'll know more after the championship as we will with my favorite OT Brown, Bama's, Clemson's and the Dogs entries )

9. Chargers: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

FROM BEARS . Lo and behold the Bolts bust a move to get Jackson with 4 of the next 5 QB needy teams looming.. While my Bears would love to take Ridley Key, Fitzpatrick or Smith they really can't afford to turn down an additional second in this draft. Price 2018 2nd

10. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

With the BIG 5 gone Bengals improve that woeful OLine

11. Dolphins: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Will play Corner or some hybrid Gase and his team come up with

12. Raiders: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Otherwise it could be a Tackle or MLB

13. Cardinals: Orlando Brown, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma

Brown may look like he has two left feet, but he excels at either Tackle or Guard and that is a very nice option to have. I like him better than McGlinchey personally.

14. Redskins: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Skins just did not have the ammo to move up for a QB and address it in FA

15. Packers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Pack takes the top corner though it could be Key also

16. Bears: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

From Chargers After losing Ridley I would not be shocked if my Bears took Smith here to reunite him with Floyd , but I'm going with Key as speed kills.
