Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Why this makes sense...Lamar Jackson has uncanny athletic ability, put him with the likes of Josh Gordon, Duke Johnson, David Njoku, you are starting to build and athletic nucleus on offense that might just resemble the Kansas City Chiefs...John Dorsey cough cough.

2. Giants: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

This is a shocker yes but again here's a why...The giants love and are familiar with the over passionate types, pairing Odell Beckham and Baker Mayfield together in New York City is so business savy it hurts, who wouldn't turn on the TV to watch those two on the same offense? Mayfield has tons of upside.

3. 49ers: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Sort of like my Fournette to Jacksonville lock last year this pick makes so much sense putting this kid in the backfield with Jimmy G gives the niners such a good new look.

4. Broncos: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Josh Rosen is the most ready QB in the draft and I think Elway will love the intangibles.

5. Colts: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

No matter who is quarterback next season in Indy they need better interior line play. Really great fit here.

6. Bears: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

This pick in my mind is 100 percent a receiver come draft day, maybe surprisingly the only major glaring hole on the bears whole team is wideout! I'm going Sutton here based on his great size.

7. Browns: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Putting Fitzpatrick opposite Jason Mccourty makes a lot of sense. Minkah is a great kid who will come in and work hard no questions asked.

8. Buccaneers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Derwin James saves the day for the Bucs and helps there woeful secondary.

9. Bengals: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

I like Chubb here to replace Michael Johnson.

10. Cardinals: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

Arden Key is supremely talented so I think Bruce Arians plucks him up here.

11. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Sam Darnold has major inconsistencies, I think if he enters the draft he may see a surprising slide to do the demand to have QB's be ready now now now, in today's NFL.

12. Redskins: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Redskins need help on that Interior should be a great pick here.

13. Dolphins: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Miami should probably go corner with this pick so I will slot Ward here.

14. Chargers: Rashaan Evans, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

I think Rashaan Evans draft stock will rise and he'd be a welcomed additon to the LA Chargers LB corps.

15. Cowboys: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

I think Ridley would be a great fit in Dallas this pick sure's up that number 2 wideout spot that Dallas needs to fix.

16. Raiders: Donte Jackson, Cornerback, LSU

Very aggressive corner who will gamble and can stick with speedy receivers I like this pick for Oakland to keep trying to sure up that secondary.
