Im back for another mock this time around midseason (I'm a little late) and alot has changed since my earlier mocks so this should be more accurate, next mock probably before the combine.

Round 1

1. Browns: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Yeah I know browns are not projected first at the moment because the niners are worse but the niners just beat the giants moving to number 3 in this mock. Also I bet some of you are shocked with the pick, since baker mayfield is a mid round projected guy, But mayfield has all the traits you want in a franchise QB, Leadership, Big Arm, Accuracy, Don't let his size fool you he is a legitimate QB and should be treated as one.

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Now Im usually not one to project RBs real high up in drafts, but Barkley is a generational talent, and there's no better team for him to go to than the Giants who have been desperate for a franchise RB since Ahmad Bradshaw. A storied franchise gets another franchise player, just need to handle eli soon.

3. 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

I actually have Fitzpatrick slotted as a CB for the niners who need a legit young stud in the secondary to pair up with budding corner Rashard Robinson. Since barkley was took a pick ahead and it's too early for a WR the niners address the defense again, they will handle building around Jimmy G for later.

4. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Colts have needed an edge rusher for years and have still yet to address it and don't come tell me about some no name they signed because I haven't heard of them, Who I have heard of though is stud DE/OLB Bradley Chubb who brings some swagger and legit toughness to the colts defense.

5. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Its obvious why the bengals fell of so hard this year, Andy Dalton can't make decisions with the trash up front they call offensive lineman. Now onto McGlinchey, theres a reason why Josh Adams gets so many yards every game for Notre Dame and it's because McGlinchey opens up so many holes for him to run through, maybe the bengals can even get his partner from the ND line later on.

6. Broncos: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Broncos need a QB to take them too the next level and manage games, Siemian and Osweiler are not cutting it and they need a leader like Peyton Manning from their super bowl years, Enter Josh Rosen a star from UCLA who had the leadership qualities and talent to lead a team even if he makes a few stupid decisions.

7. Chargers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Like many other people projecting the chargers pick they are projecting them a safety and I do here too, Derwin James just makes too much sense for the chargers as an all around guy at S and can even play some LB in the box which will help the chargers become good.

8. Buccaneers: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

Arden key has fell off a bit since last year but is still a legit guy at DE a position that has been underperforming for the bucs this year so they scoop one up with their chance with the early pick.

9. Browns: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

Via HOU
The browns WR core has been horrendous this year not letting the QBs have a good target to throw too, this all chances with the tall and athletic WR from SMU Courtland Sutton who has been the focal point of SMU's offense and can catch anything thrown at him.

10. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Back to back WRs come off at the tail end of the top 10 with the Bears needing a legit threat at WR to pair with the returning Cameron Meredith . next year for young QB Mitch Trubisky. Calvin Ridley will bring excitement to the bears offense.

11. Jets: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Sorry Lamar doesn't fall far enough to make him Lamar Jacksonville as he ends up with the Jets here at 11, Lamar will finally give the jets their franchise QB they have been looking for since Joe Namath all the way back in the sixties, Lamar has throwing ability and can run, todd bowles can recreate the offense around Lamar.

12. Cardinals: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

I know the Cards will probably need a QB in the offseason but I think they will either address it later or sign Kirk Cousins. But here they boost up the interior of the offensive line by getting a stud guard from Notre Dame Quenton Nelson, He is strong and quick and will help open holes for David Johnson and the cards RBs.

13. Raiders: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Raiders get a versatile, power big man to plug up opponent's running games by bolstering their defensive line early on in this draft. Not much to say here as many people know how dominant Wilkins is.

14. Ravens: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Im surprised not many other people are projecting the ravens to take a QB. I mean flacco isn't elite like trump said but he was a decent QB that lead his team to a SB win, But sadly those days are over for Flacco as he has became washed up, So here they take Sam Darnold, who's hype has fell off a lot but should still become a decent QB or even a good one with the right coach in the league.

15. Redskins: Luke Falk, Quarterback, Washington State

With Kirk Cousins most likely leaving in FA its time for the redskins to address the QB position. Now to Falk, Falk is a accurate pocket passer that has some leadership skils, while he might get rattled in some big situations he should still turn out to be the man in Washington for some years.

16. Dolphins: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

I originally had this pick as Roquan Smith but after watching the performance by the corners against my favorite team the panthers they clearly need a star CB, Xavien Howard and Cordrea Tankersley clearly arent holding down the WRs they face. Denzel Ward has really stepped up as Ohio State's CB1, he can cover with zone, man to man or press, really an all around corner.
