Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Darnold is the man for the moment here. The Jets need a QB to lead the franchise like every franchise needs and Darnold has great poise and could play well in the NFL.

2. Redskins: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

TRADE: The Bears are going to move down here so the Redskins can snag a QB to replace Cousins

The QB hype is real and the Skins are going to need one when Cousins leaves. There is no way the team can keep tagging him without eating away at the salary cap.

3. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Browns go best on the board at this point. They believe that Kizer can be the man and Crowell is on a contract year. Putting Barkley in the backfield can help Kizer out as well as setting the scene for a young core on offense.

4. 49ers: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Williams has shown that he is a great lineman and thats something that the 49ers could really use in protecting Cousins.

5. Bengals: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

The Bengals need all the help they can get with players so they take the best on the board. The whole team is struggling

6. Colts: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

The Colts need help on defense anywhere they can get it and Wilkins can help plug the hole.

7. Bills: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cornerback, Alabama

The Bills need help defending the pass. White is a young player with a good upside and adding Fitzpatrick can help stabilize a young core for the pass defense.

8. Browns: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

This is from the Texans slot that they received by trading down last draft

The Browns are going to take the best on the board once again. James can play opposite of Peppers giving the Browns a potentially deadly duo for the future.

9. Cardinals: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Some people are high on Allen but Im not. Even if Palmer will still be the starting QB for the Cards going into the next season it can give Allen some time to learn and develop for the Cards.

10. Chargers: Orlando Brown, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma

The Chargers need a QB to backup Rivers towards the end of his days but they need protection even more.

11. Jaguars: Mason Rudolph, Quarterback, Oklahoma State

Rudolph is a sleeper in this draft. He is overlooked by lots of people because all of the hype is in LA but Rudolph will catch some believers by the time the combine comes around

12. Saints: Malik Jefferson, Outside Linebacker, Texas

The Saints need help for LB's and Jefferson is a great prospect. He can stretch out around the field and plays a balanced game something that is valuable in the NFL

13. Giants: Trey Adams, Offensive Tackle, Washington

The Giants need lineman asap and Adams is a good start for one.

14. Rams: Mitch Hyatt, Offensive Tackle, Clemson

The Rams need some good lineman to help protect the young Rams offense. Hyatt is someone who can size up defenders and be a stone wall for the Rams.

15. Bears: James Washington, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State

This pick is from the Redskins

Washington has shot up my WR rankings for this class. He is a big guy who can come down with the deep ball very well he is averaging around 30 yards a catch this year and is the deep threat the Bears need

16. Titans: Tarvarus McFadden, Cornerback, Florida State

The Titans are going to lock up another young corner for the future. Logan Ryan isn't all that bad but this team was hurting against the pass last year and need everything they can get.
