Its almost more about the draft order at this point. Charlie and Walt for in depth prospect opinions I'm the amateur! Your opinions are always welcome (even from Packer fans) 2018 mock 1. PS Thanks for the cash from the mock contest last year!

Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

More a question of draft order than who goes first at this point although Allen could convince us this year

2. Redskins: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

From 49ers. Maybe I'm nuts but sometime before the pick I see Cousins being signed and TRADED to SF. Despite everything Cousins is a loyal guy and if a win-win is presented to him he is gone (in my opinion) Price 2018 1st, 2019 1st 2020 3d

3. Rams: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

It could be a tackle, or even a QB, but I think they are all in on Goff (for another year and won't let Key get by them

4. Bills: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

From Chicago This pick has great value with QB needy teams, vying for the third QB With a host of teams needing QB's Bills pay the price surrendering their 2018 2nd

5. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Could be a QB but Browns could use a stud RB too

6. Jaguars: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

I see the Jags patience finally growing thin on Bortles and fan pressure to address it.

7. Bears: Trey Adams, Offensive Tackle, Washington

From Bills It would not suprise me to see my Bears move down again from here (Maybe NYG) and snag Nelson to study behind Sitton, yet if the Bears stay here I'm reasonably sure it will be either Adams or McGlinchey

8. Bengals: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cornerback, Alabama

Bengals like his flexibility and the secondary needs help

9. Colts: Dorance Armstrong Jr., Defensive End, Kansas

While it could be the FSU safety here, I don't see anyway the Colts don't take either a OLB or a DE they must improve their rush.

10. Saints: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Yep, Saints still going D

11. Ravens: Christian Kirk, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

Ravens need a top reciever

12. Giants: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

While QB is in play and Linebacker a stud OT would help

13. Redskins: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Without injury this kid is a perennial pro bowler and fits the Skins needs like a glove (I wish I could figure out how my Bears get him)

15. Panthers: Malik Jefferson, Outside Linebacker, Texas

Corner is still a need but I'd plug in the Longhorn and create a truly scary linebacker corps because Thomas is not getting any younger

16. Chargers: Trenton Thompson, Defensive Tackle, Georgia

Sure, maybe they wait for another year on QB as they have flown off the board. If so, I like some help for Bosa on the front...
