Round 1

1. Rams: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

If Goff doesn't improve this season the Rams don't have a choice. Darnold is too good to pass up.

2. Jets: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

They miss out on Darnold, but still their QB of the future.

3. 49ers: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

They 49ers can't have another season of Hoyer or Barkley at QB. Rosen is a great talent but his attitude drops him to the #3 QB in this class.

4. Bears: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

The Bears should have waited another year for a QB but now they take the best player available and it's Key.

5. Jaguars: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Bortles probably won't work out so a new QB is the way to go for the Jags.

6. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

The Browns miss out on a top QB but take the #1 RB in the draft. They need a dynamic presence on offense.

7. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Losing Whitworth will be hard to overcome. McGlinchey is a proven starter and can be plugged in right away.

8. Bills: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

Watkins might not be there next year so the Bills will still need a #1 WR.

9. Ravens: Harold Landry, Defensive End, Boston College

Dumervil is gone and Suggs is aging. Landry is the best pass rusher on the board and the Ravens know they need him.

10. Colts: Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU

Yes, Frank Gore defies age and is serviceable. But the Colts need a player behind Luck that defenses actually fear.

11. Vikings: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

James dropped this far in the draft only because of how many other good players there are. Sendejo cannot start another season for the Vikes, he just can't.

12. Saints: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Trading Cooks was an interesting move. Thomas is the new #1 but Snead is a #3 at best. Ridley will provide that in between to keep the Saints' passing game on top.

13. Browns: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Thomas is getting older and the team has thought about trading him. They need a reliable blocker who can eventually take over for him.

14. Giants: Mitch Hyatt, Offensive Tackle, Clemson

The Giants have gotten by with their offensive line but can't ignore the glaring hole they have at LT.

15. Dolphins: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Wilkins is a monster and will boost the Dolphins immensely next to Suh.

16. Broncos: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

The Broncos have spent a few years now trying to assemble an O-Line. Nelson brings them another step closer.
