Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

The Jets need a QB, and Sam Darnold is looking like the first QB going to be drafted.

2. Rams: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

After losing William Hayes, the Rams need a new DE to pair with Robert Quinn. Key is a phenomenal player, and could be the best defensive player in the draft.

3. Browns: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The Browns need a safety, even if Jabrill peppers can get better against the pass and become a starter. They would still need a safety across from Jabrill.

4. 49ers: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Although Brian Hoyer is underrated, the 49ers will need a new QB to develop. Josh Allen is the perfect candidate. Sit him behind Hoyer for a season, let Allen learn the offense, and then start in 2019 and destroy.

5. Bills: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cornerback, Alabama

I originally had the Bills going with Calvin RIdley, because I don't see Sammy Watkins being in Buffalo much longer. But the Bills need a DB more than anything, and FItzpatrick can be both a safety or a cornerback.

6. Jaguars: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The Jaguars could use a tackle, as they found a short-term replacement in Branden Albert for this season. He should be fine for a season, but they will need a long-term tackle.

7. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Cameron Meredith is the only WR weapon that Trubisky has, so the Bears will look to give him more weapons.

8. Broncos: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

The Broncos need a new Quarterback, and Josh Rosen is the most pro-ready one in the draft. Rosen will likely be a boom or a bust.

9. Bengals: Martez Ivey, Offensive Tackle, Florida

The Bengals could use a new tackle after losing Andrew Whitworth in the free agency. A lot of people believe that Ivey is the 2nd best OT in the draft.

10. Cardinals: Luke Falk, Quarterback, Washington State

The Cardinals will be in a tough situation for years to come. They are going to be losing Fitzgerald, they already lost Malcom Floyd. They will be losing Carson Palmer, and their OL is aging. The Cardinals need to grab a potential Franchise QB, and hope that they can pick up some receivers and offensive lineman in the free agency.

11. Panthers: Tarvarus McFadden, Cornerback, Florida State

The Panthers will HAVE to find a replacement for Josh Norman if they want to go back to the playoffs anytime soon.

12. Chargers: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Wilkins is projected to be one of the best talents in the draft, and the Chargers could use an improved defense.

13. Ravens: Christian Kirk, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

With Mike Wallace being the best receiver for the Ravens, they will need to find another receiver.

14. Saints: Sam Hubbard, Defensive End, Ohio State

Saints will need to improve their DL, and Hubbard at 14 could be a great pick.

15. Colts: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Finally, the best RB in the draft is taken. He is extremely talented, but the only team where I thought he could possibly go was to the Ravens, but they need a WR more than a RB. Gore is getting old, and they will have to find a replacement soon.

16. Vikings: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Connor Williams is a great pass blocker, and still a decent run blocker. Connor has great potential, and having a potential pro-bowl offensive lineman would be great.
