Round 1

1. Browns: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

No brainer here. He has the power, speed and size general managers covet. Hes a plug-and-play kind of guy that will help that porous defense and hopefully excite the fan base.

2. 49ers: Solomon Thomas, Defensive End, Stanford

The 49ers have drafted two defensive linemen in the first round(armstead and Buckner) the last two years but what they really need is a true pass rusher. Ahmad brooks is getting old and I just don't see a player on the roster who can get after the quarterback. This team is in rebuild mode so improving the trenches is a good place to start.

3. Bears: Jamal Adams, Strong Safety, LSU

The bears have a good defensive line but their back end is the weak link. Years ago, this team was feared because of the defense. They may not have Urlacher or Briggs patrolling the field anymore but having a guy like Jamal Adams is a good start. He can stop the run on one play and on the next play defend the pass.

4. Jaguars: Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU

The Jaguars are a good young team that is a couple pieces away from being a contender- running back being one of those pieces. The best way to know if Bortles is indeed their franchise quarterback of the future is to take some of the weight off his shoulders and see how he reacts. Leonard Fournette is an Adrian Peterson clone but with better hands. He will not only compliment bortles, he can take over games as well and that is why this is an easy pick.

5. Titans: Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

The titans have two picks in the first round but with their first pick, they help their quarterback. Mike Williams is a lot like alshon Jeffery in the sense that he can catch jump balls. Unlike Jeffery however, he is not injury-prone; he has the physical makeup to not only help Mariota in the passing game but he will make this offense explosive and who wouldn't want that?

6. Jets: Marshon Lattimore, Cornerback, Ohio State

Morris claiborne was brought in from the cowboys in free agency but he's a wildcard. He played well last season but his season wasn't exactly a season long. His season was cut short so the Jets draft an insurance policy in case claiborne gets hurt again. He could also make a good tandem with claiborne.

7. Chargers: Malik Hooker, Free Safety, Ohio State

Want the next ed reed? Here he is in the form of Malik Hooker. The chargers have created a very good defensive line and have two good boundary corners in verrett and hayward but what they are missing is a free safety who can patrol the back end and create turnovers. If hooker is the pick, their defense just got a whole lot better!

8. Saints: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Trade! The panthers do not get Fournette so they trade back in the draft to get more picks and later on, you'll see who they get. The Saints trade up in the draft to get a playmaker for their defense and who is that playmaker you ask?? Jonathan Allen who is a wrecking ball and someone who could fill a hole in this defense.

9. Bengals: John Ross, Wide Receiver, Washington

The bengals need a pass rusher and wide receiver to compliment A.J Green so which path do they take? This draft is deep in pass rushers so they take john ross to help take pressure off of green and make this offense dangerous( well once they find some lineman to protect Andy Dalton).

10. Bills: Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback, Alabama

Stephon Gilmore left in Free agency so that left a big hole in the secondary. They fill that hole or at least slow down the bleeding in the form of Marlon Humphrey. He has NFL bloodlines and while he needs work on his technique, the tools are all there. He just needs the right coaching to fix his flaws.

11. Panthers: Derek Barnett, Defensive End, Tennessee

Even with them trading back, the panthers get a good pass rusher for their defense. Charles Johnson and Julius peppers are good pass rushers but they are getting long in the teeth. Kony Ealy was traded to the patriots as well so this is their biggest need on draft day without a doubt.

12. Ravens: Corey Davis, Wide Receiver, Western Michigan

Trade! The browns can go anywhere with this pick but not surprisingly, they trade to get more picks. The ravens need a deep threat for Joe Flacco so they move up in the draft to get Corey Davis before the cardinals get a chance to.

13. Cardinals: Tre'Davious White, Cornerback, LSU

The cardinals love LSU defensive backs so why not get another one? White played a lot of man coverage at LSU and only allowed a 41% completion percentage on throws into his coverage; that is amazing!

14. Eagles: Gareon Conley, Cornerback, Ohio State

The Eagles copy the cardinals and go corner. Gareon Conley was often overshadowed by his talented teammates Lattimore and hooker but he's a great corner in his own right. gareon Conley will fit in nicely and help the defense out.

15. Colts: Forrest Lamp, Offensive Guard, Western Kentucky

The Colts finally realize it takes real football players to protect Andrew luck so they draft an offensive lineman who can play an array of positions. Forrest lamp will probably start at guard but with his versatility, andrew luck will have more time to throw and get back to his pro-bowl ways.

16. Browns: O.J. Howard, Tight End, Alabama

I still feel it's too early to draft a quarterback so the Browns draft a playmaker for whoever 's under center. OJ Howard is a tight end that can do it all. His tape may not show it because of how little he was used but he can inline block and catch very well-a combination most NFL tight ends don't have.
