Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Browns: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

Consensus number 1 overall pick. Garrett is a physical freak and one of the best pass rushers to come out in recent years. Not even the Browns can screw this pick up.

2. 49ers: Mitch Trubisky, Quarterback, North Carolina

This pick very well could be Jonathan Allen in a couple weeks, depending on if the 49ers swing a trade for Washington QB Kirk Cousins. For now San Fran takes Trubisky. I like the pick especially because he can be groomed by Kyle Shanahan and dosent need to be a day 1 starter.

3. Bears: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

I don't understand the fall Allen receives in some mocks. Yes while his shoulder may be a concern when on the feild Allen is a wrecking machine and can cause havoc for years to come. Deshaun Watson could also be in play at 3 overall, or Trubisky (which the Bears like according to rumors) falls to 3.

4. Jaguars: Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU

This pick has to be offensive especially with the jags free agency acquisitions. However I have a hard time seeing the jags draft fournette. Yeldon isn't bad and Chris ivory is still under contract. A trade down Is a possibility, but for now fournette is the pick as he is the best player available.

5. Titans: Malik Hooker, Free Safety, Ohio State

This pick is a toss up between Jamal Adams and Malik Hooker. Many mocks have Adams slotted here but Hooker is a ball freak and covers the feild sideline to sideline. While he is out 4-6 months that won't stop the Titans from getting themselves one of the best prospects in the draft. Corner could be in the picture as well but the safety prospects available are too good to pass up on.

6. Jets: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback, Clemson

Who is going to throw the ball for the jets this year? It could be jay cutler but good luck selling that to your fan base. The jets will draft their franchise QB. Watson had a hell of a combine and has enough experience to be a day 1 starter.

7. Chargers: Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

Jamal Adams very well could be drafted at 7 however I see a bigger need at receiver then at safety especially with the resigning of Jahleel Addae. While the bolts do have Keenan Allen he hasn't been able to stay on the feild. If he can stay healthy, Williams and Allen would make a filthy 1-2 duo for Phillip Rivers.

8. Panthers: Marshon Lattimore, Cornerback, Ohio State

What happened to Carolina and who could have thought Josh Norman's departure would have been so devestating. Lattimore had the best combine out of any corner and played very well for Ohio State last year. Marlon Humphrey or Teez Tabor could also be an option this year especially with no consensus number one corner prospect this year.

9. Bengals: Reuben Foster, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

Foster's little incident at the combine dosent effect him as much as you think. According to some reports, the way he's handled the after math has teams impressed with his maturity. Foster will vastly improve an aging bangles defense and with the recent departure of Karlos Dansby, Cincinnati is desperately in need of a linebacker.

10. Bills: Jamal Adams, Strong Safety, LSU

Oh the Bills. To be honest they need help everywhere but with how the board has fallen Buffalo gets a blue chip prospect in Adams. Adams is a complete safety and while not as flashy as Malik Hooker, he does everything very well. With the signing of Micah Hyde the Bills very well could have one of the more consistent safety cores in the NFL. WR could be a target for the bills at 10 as well. Reports also indicate the bills are "all in" on Alabama TE OJ Howard. That's not the pick to make at 10 however.

11. Saints: Solomon Thomas, Defensive End, Stanford

The saints are wasting Drew Brees talent with historically bad defenses. Time to invest in some pass rush and Solomon Thomas is filthy good off the edge. Thomas in some mocks is as high as number 2 overall if he falls to the saints here it may be the steal of the draft.

12. Browns: Jalen Tabor, Cornerback, Florida

The Browns secondary was embarrassing last season. Joe Hayden isn't what he used to be and got torched by mediocre receivers through out the season. Time to look for a new number 1 corner and Tabor has the potential to be lock down for years to come. Marlon Humphrey is also in the picture here at 12.

13. Cardinals: Corey Davis, Wide Receiver, Western Michigan

Larry Fitzgerald isn't getting any younger, Michael Floyd was waived and now resides in prison and John Brown has sickle-cell and who knows if he'll ever be the player he once was. Corey Davis is a big body receiver with great route running and stellar hands. Corner is a need but the class this year is incredibly deep. Not to mention Davis is just too good to pass on.

14. Eagles: Dalvin Cook, Running Back, Florida State

The Eagles addressed their need for receiver in a big way this offseason picking up notable names such as Torrey smith and Alshon Jeffery. Carson Wentz is already protected well with Jason peters and Lane Johnson but who's running behind that line? Ryan Matthews when healthy is solid but they can do better. Dalvin Cook is a hell of a running back and has breakaway speed that can change the game. With cook running the ball and the moves made on offense this offseason philly has Carson Wentz has all the tools needed to succeed.

15. Colts: Haason Reddick, Outside Linebacker, Temple

What a rise for the Temple product. He killed it at the senor bowl and had in my opinion the best combine showing. I want to give Indy a Tackle to protect Andrew luck but their defense is laughable. Reddick will help the front seven in run defense and his coverage skills aren't to shabby either.

16. Ravens: John Ross, Wide Receiver, Washington

Baltimore's offseason has been very impressive signing Danny Woodhead, Tony Jefferson and resigning key nose tackle Brandon Williams. Now all they need to do is get Joe Flacco someone to throw to. With John Ross and Mike Wallace the Ravens will have the speediest wide outs in the league.
