Round 1

1. Browns: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

I know the Browns need a quarterback but Garrett is too good to pass up and there are plenty of draft prospects available later. The only scenario I see them taking a quarterback number 1 is if they feel like Trubisky or Watson are surefire franchise quarterbacks.

2. 49ers: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback, Clemson

I think Trubisky is a better quarterback than Watson but I'm sure Kelly will fall in love with Watson after a workout and start salivating at the thought of what the offense might look like with Watson running the show. It's time to move on from Kaepernick but I can see them keeping Gabbert as a backup.

3. Bears: Mitch Trubisky, Quarterback, North Carolina

Everyone knows Cutlers time in Chicago is done. Fox has 2 straight losing seasons and he needs something to shake up the team before the fans call for his head.

4. Panthers: Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback, Alabama

Bradberry was a good find in last year's draft now they can finish the job with a stud at corner in the first round. The pass defense is the only weakness in this team and they need to fix it or run the risk of another difficult season.

5. Jets: Jabrill Peppers, Strong Safety, Michigan

Peppers is an absolute stud and a playmaker which is something this secondary is sorely lacking, Revis is obviously the leader of this secondary but he's getting old and he can rest assured that the defense is in good hands when he retires.

6. Jaguars: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

The jags haven't been terrible stopping the pass but they have been terrible at stopping the run and they have 1 weakness and that is the defensive end spot opposite of Fowler. This defense is uber talented just waiting for the young pieces to start clicking.

7. Saints: Derek Barnett, Defensive End, Tennessee

The best way to fix a leaky defense is to get after the opposing quarterback. Jordan has been doing the best he can but it's time to give him some real help. The saints defense has been improving throughout the year and adding a blue chip prospect like Barnett might make them respectable again.

8. Ravens: Tim Williams, Outside Linebacker, Alabama

I can see the Ravens going running back here as well but ultimately this team is built on defense and need to find a suitable replacement for Terrell Suggs as fast as they can.

9. Colts: Jalen Tabor, Cornerback, Florida

This is probably going to be the best defensive player available kind of situation and with Tabor and Vontae Davis in the backfield teams might start thinking twice before throwing in them.

10. Titans: Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

The titans team is poised to break out eventually they have talent all over the place but one thing they're lacking is a surefire number 1 receiver for Mariota and Williams checks all the boxes for a legit number 1.

11. Dolphins: Cam Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

The dolphins have transformed into a run first team but with one problem, the offensive line doesn't create holes like they should. Tunsil will make the switch to tackle eventually which means Robinson can slide into a guard spot and slowly work his way outside to tackle.

12. Titans: Malik McDowell, Defensive Tackle, Michigan State

With the second pick in the first round I see them going defense. Jurrell Casey is a monster to handle even with the double teams he receives. With McDowell in the fold they'll think twice about double teaming Casey.

13. Bengals: Charles Harris, Defensive End, Missouri

The bengals defense is starting to fall off and they need to hurry before it's too late. They could go anywhere on defense with this pick but I got pass rusher as the right move.

14. Chargers: Jamal Adams, Strong Safety, LSU

The chargers have a solid defense but what they're lacking is a deep field defender. Adams will make charger fans forget about Eric Weddle.

15. Buccaneers: Desmond King, Free Safety, Iowa

Grimes has been good for them but how much longer does he have? Hargreaves and King would be great duo in the future.

16. Cardinals: DeShone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame

Palmer is regressing and doing it fast, the Cardinals have flirted with getting his replacement but the window is closing fast. A defender could be the pick but might as well take advantage of the prospects on the board.
