Just a rough draft on the draft order based on current record/probability of making playoffs and advancing. Will probably extend it to two rounds later.

Round 1

1. Browns: DeShone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame

Pretty simple here. They like Kessler but he doesn't produce enough. They finally draft smart and get their franchise QB. Since they have another 1st round pick later this is a safe pick.

2. Bears: Brad Kaaya, Quarterback, Miami

This may surprise a lot of people but lets look at how this season is playing out. Hoyer is being chosen to start over Cutler... This team is ready to move on and draft for the future. Kaaya fits better with his offense than Watson in my opinion.

3. 49ers: Deshaun Watson, Quarterback, Clemson

I had Myles Garrett here at first but then when I really thought about it I think for Chip Kelly it is much more important to get a franchise QB in this spot. Gabbert is not the answer and baring a great season from Kaepernick I think they get the mobile QB here. Pretty crazy that 3 QB's go in the first 3 picks.

4. Chargers: Jabrill Peppers, Strong Safety, Michigan

They missed out on Ramsey last year and still are in need of a big play safety since Weddle left. This should be an easy pick for them.

5. Dolphins: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

Quite possibly the best player in the draft falls to the dolphins and at a position of need.

6. Jaguars: Cam Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Alabama

They already have great offensive play makers but they forget they need a good offensive line as well in order to perform. They shore up that OL here with picking up the best lineman in the class.

7. Saints: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

The Saints really need to focus on improving their defense. I was inclined to go CB here because of the level of WR's in their division but with the good play they are getting out of Breaux I think they go DL here.

8. Colts: Christian McCaffrey, Running Back, Stanford

I feel like Fournette is the top RB in this class but McCaffrey fits better with the offensive scheme of the colts. He can catch passes out of the backfield and run the ball well. Take for example the lack of use of Gore at the goal line. This team just likes to pass first.

9. Titans: JuJu Smith-Schuster, Wide Receiver, USC

The titans have been lacking a big reliable receiver for a very long time. Trading DGB leads them to go with a WR here with huge upside.

10. Jets: Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU

May seem like a surprise here but the Jets only have Forte who is aging quickly and Powell who is not much of a lead back. Fournette seems like a perfect fit. Time for the Jets to focus on making this offense better.

11. Buccaneers: Jamal Adams, Strong Safety, LSU

I think the Bucs go for a Safety here because their division boasts some explosive offenses. The defense still needs to work out some kinks and I think there is no way that they pass up on Adams with this pick.

12. Panthers: Derek Barnett, Defensive End, Tennessee

Stewart's injury could make a RB up for discussion here but Since this class is very RB heavy I believe they will wait until round 2 to address that. If this year has shown anything it has showed that this Panthers defense is not as good as it once was. They get an edge rusher to help get some pressure on other teams.

13. Chiefs: Reuben Foster, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

The Chiefs won't make a move on getting their future QB yet but they still need some help stuffing the line from the linebacker position. They get the top rated ILB with this pick.

14. Giants: Tim Williams, Outside Linebacker, Alabama

I think the Giants milk at least one more year out of Manning before beginning moving on. The defense is obviously this teams biggest weakness so they get the next best LB in the draft. These picks from Alabama are starting to pile up! Since they drafted Paul Perkins I think they hold off on going RB.

15. Lions: Dalvin Cook, Running Back, Florida State

So badly I wanted to pick a CB in this position because everyone knows they really need the help but with the constant injuries with Abdullah and how insecure that position is I feel like they go RB and complete this offense. WR was under consideration but Jones has looked spectacular this year and this class is not deep at the WR position.

16. Bengals: Dan Feeney, Offensive Guard, Indiana

Hill has been struggling and they don't think Bernard is the answer at RB but i feel like they continue with that committee and just focus on the OL. They get the best G in the class.
