Round 1

1. Rams: Jared Goff, Quarterback, California

Well, I guess I was wrong. I should have been listening to the reports more closely than I did. It appears that LA will select Jared Goff on April 28th.

2. Eagles: Carson Wentz, Quarterback, North Dakota State

Philly has loved Carson Wentz from the get go. They must have called LA to ensure they were not drafting Wentz first overall.

3. Chargers: Jalen Ramsey, Free Safety, Florida State

San Diego must improve their safety play. Third overall is really high to take a safety, but San Diego is already set at corner with Casey Heyward, Brandon Flowers, and Jason Verett.

4. Cowboys: Joey Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

I really don't see how Dallas can pass on Bosa now given that their options at defensive end for the coming season are limited by suspension.

5. Jaguars: Myles Jack, Outside Linebacker, UCLA

With every passing day, it appears that Jaguars are falling in love with Myles Jack more and more.

6. Ravens: Laremy Tunsil, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss

Baltimore has concerns about Eugene Monroe, so they would absolutely love to be able to draft Tunsil.

7. 49ers: DeForest Buckner, Defensive End, Oregon

No, it is not that the 49ers absolutely need a defensive end - they need quality players. Bucker is simply too good to pass on.

8. Browns: Ronnie Stanley, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Joe Thomas should be 'safe.' Stanley would play right tackle in Cleveland - for now.

9. Buccaneers: Sheldon Rankins, Defensive Tackle, Louisville

Let's be honest, does anyone really know what Tampa Bay will do here? Tampa could easily take any of the four players: Rankings, Leonard Floyd, Shaq Lawson, or Vernon Hargraves. However, I will slot Rankins here as I believe defensive tackle is a bigger need for Tampa than defensive end.

10. Giants: Leonard Floyd, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

New York must improve their linebacking corps. Floyd has the ability to be used in a variety of roles on defense.

11. Bears: Vernon Hargreaves, Cornerback, Florida

Outside of Kyle Fuller, Chicago doesn't have a proven option at cornerback.

12. Saints: Shaq Lawson, Defensive End, Clemson

New Orleans must improve their pass rushing situation.

13. Dolphins: Ezekiel Elliott, Running Back, Ohio State

Miami would be absolutely ecstatic if Ezekiel Elliott fell to them.

14. Raiders: Reggie Ragland, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

Oakland must find a better option at interior linebacker.

15. Titans: Jack Conklin, Offensive Tackle, Michigan State

The Titans could stand to find a better option at right tackle.

16. Lions: Jarran Reed, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Outside of Haloti Ngata, the Lions don't have certainty at defensive tackle.
