HardcoreVikesFan's 2016 NFL Mock Draft - Version 3.0
Published at 4/7/2016 2:47:11 PM

My third attempt at a 2016 mock draft. Per usual, I don't project trades. I do, however, place certain picks on trade watch. Please feel free to comment. Thank you for reading.

Round 1

1. Titans: Laremy Tunsil, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss

*This pick is on trade watch*

I am not buying that the Titans will draft Jalen Ramsey first overall - for now.

2. Browns: Carson Wentz, Quarterback, North Dakota State

Cleveland will draft a QB in this draft. They love Carson Wentz.

3. Chargers: Jalen Ramsey, Free Safety, Florida State

San Diego needs at safety. Ramsey would afford San Diego a tremendous talent to add to an already tenacious secondary.

4. Cowboys: DeForest Buckner, Defensive End, Oregon

To me, Buckner makes more sense here than Bosa. Buckner is not only a great pass rusher, he plays the run very-well - something Dallas struggle with stopping last season.

5. Jaguars: Joey Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

*This pick is on trade watch*

Jacksonville certainly doesn't need any more defensive linemen, but, I don't see how Gus Bradley could pass on Bosa if he is available.

6. Ravens: Myles Jack, Outside Linebacker, UCLA

Baltimore needs to replace Daryl Smith. Moreover, while C.J. Mosely is a quality player, Arthur Brown has been a disappointment.

7. 49ers: Jared Goff, Quarterback, California

To quote Snoop Dog: "Chip Kelly, you sorry as fuck cuh."

The 49ers will draft a QB here. It will be Goff - unless Wentz is somehow available.

8. Eagles: Ezekiel Elliott, Running Back, Ohio State

Philly is committed to improving the run game. Elliot will be the pick here - the only other logical choice would be Vernon Hargreaves.

9. Buccaneers: Vernon Hargreaves, Cornerback, Florida

Tampa Bay signed Brent Grimes, but he will not play forever. Moreover, Alturan Verner was a disappointment last year for Tampa.

10. Giants: Leonard Floyd, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

New York really needs to improve their linebacking corps. Floyd would be used like Anthony Barr and Khalil Mack in New York.

11. Bears: Ronnie Stanley, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Chicago needs to find a blind-side protector in the worst-way.

12. Saints: Mackensie Alexander, Cornerback, Clemson

*This pick is on trade watch*

Outside of Delvin Breaux, the Saints have major concerns at corner. This may be a slight reach for Alexander, but, the Saints' needs don't match the other top players on the board.

13. Dolphins: Emmanuel Ogbah, Defensive End, Oklahoma State

Miami has had a very confusing offseason. However, despite having two quality pass-rushers in place, they need youth.

14. Raiders: Sheldon Rankins, Defensive Tackle, Louisville

Oakland needs to improve on the defensive line. Rankins would have the ability to play 3-4 defensive end, as well as defensive tackle to accommodate Oakland's multiple-D look.

15. Rams: Paxton Lynch, Quarterback, Memphis

*This pick is on trade watch*

Good luck selling tickets in LA with Case Kenum as the starting QB. St. Louis needs to attempt to find a franchise QB.

16. Lions: A'Shawn Robinson, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Detroit needs to improve their defensive tackle position.
