-
Derek Anderson (RFA), Browns. Age: 25.

Re-signed with Browns (3 years, $26 million)
Derek Anderson had more touchdown passes than Peyton Manning for the majority of the season. He threw 29 of them. That's not easy to do. The Browns would be nuts not to keep him; they are so many bad quarterbacks in this league that they just can't afford to give him up. Just ask the Bears how much a really good signal caller like Anderson would mean to them. Cleveland will tender him at the maximum level, requiring any squad interested in Anderson to surrender first- and third-round selections.
-
Rex Grossman, Bears. Age: 28.

Re-signed with Bears (1 year, $3 million)
It's a shame Rex Grossman got hurt against the Redskins because he was coming off one of the best four-game stretches of his career. In Weeks 10-13, Grossman was a combined 73-of-130, 897 yards, three touchdowns and one pick. Not bad. Grossman has always had a powerful arm, but he lacked confidence. Perhaps his performance late last season made him believe that he can be a starting quarterback in this league. He definitely deserves another chance.
-
Shaun Hill, 49ers. Age: 28.

Re-signed with 49ers (3 years, $6 million)
Shaun Hill played extremely well in his three starts last year, compiling five touchdowns to just one pick. Makes you wonder why Mike Nolan stuck with Trent "Five Turnover" Dilfer for so long.
-
Quinn Gray, Texans. Age: 29.

No one gave David Garrard a shot prior to this season, and look what he did. When Garrard was hurt, Quinn Gray stepped in and played admirably, tossing 10 touchdowns to only five picks. Gray, a mobile quarterback, deserves a shot.
-
Todd Collins, Redskins. Age: 36.

Re-signed with Redskins (3 years, $9 million)
Any team looking to make a Super Bowl run can definitely use a proven veteran like Todd Collins as a backup quarterback.
-
Billy Volek, Chargers. Age: 32.

Re-signed with Chargers (3 years, $9 million)
Billy Volek scored the winning touchdown in the playoffs against the Colts. He's a solid backup for any team.
-
Cleo Lemon, Dolphins. Age: 29.
Signed with Jaguars (3 years, $8.9 million)
With barely any help, Cleo Lemon did a solid job taking over at quarterback when Trent Green went down.
-
Chris Redman, Falcons. Age: 31.
Re-signed with Falcons (2 years, $5 million)
Chris Redman proved he can be a capable backup quarterback in this league with a strong finish to his 2007 season.
-
Joey Harrington, Falcons. Age: 29.
Re-signed with Falcons
Joey Harrington didn't play that bad last year. He completed 61.8 percent of his passes and compiled 2,215 yards in 12 games despite seeing Alge Crumpler and Michael Jenkins drop every ball in sight. Still, teams might shy away from Harrington, as his love for caviar and piano playing drops his stock quite a bit.
-
Josh McCown, Raiders. Age: 29.
Signed with Dolphins (2 years, $6.25 million)
Josh McCown's a solid backup, but nothing more. He got a second star because he looks like Ivan Drago.
-
Daunte Culpepper, Raiders. Age: 31.
Daunte Culpepper said he'd love to play for the Dolphins again. But why would the Dolphins want an injury-prone, interception-throwing, has-been fumbling machine? Culpepper's damaged goods. He's done nothing since 2004.
-
Ryan Fitzpatrick (RFA), Bengals. Age: 25.
Re-signed with Bengals (1 year, $927,000)
I'll never forget that game Ryan Fitzpatrick had against the Texans in 2005. I bet Houston and had to watch Fitzpatrick burn me. I have to believe someone will give him a chance. Heck, it took Todd Collins 13 years to get one.
-
Tim Rattay, Cardinals. Age: 31.
A solid quarterback to have around as a backup.
-
Jared Lorenzen, Giants. Age: 27.
It's too bad for the Hefty Lefty (or the Pillsbury Throwboy, or J-Load) that eating cheeseburgers doesn't count toward the NFL's passer rating. If it did, Jared Lorenzen would be the best quarterback of all time.
-
Byron Leftwich, Falcons. Age: 28.
Another quarterback who could benefit from eaten cheeseburgers counting toward the NFL's passer rating. Byron Leftwich should just retire so he can eat them on his couch for the rest of his life.
-
Tim Hasselbeck, Cardinals. Age: 30.
Tim Hasselbeck is not talented, but his wife is hot, so he gets some points for that.
- Kelly Holcomb, Vikings. Age: 35.
- Gus Frerotte, Rams. Age: 37.
- Signed with Vikings
- Bruce Gradkowski, Buccaneers. Age: 25.
- Signed with Rams
- Brian St. Pierre, Steelers. Age: 28.
- Signed with Cardinals (1 year)
- Craig Nall, Packers. Age: 29.
- J.T. O'Sullivan, Lions. Age: 29.
- Signed with 49ers (1 year, $645,000)
- Jamie Martin, Saints. Age: 38.
- Mark Brunell, Redskins. Age: 37.
- Signed with Saints (2 years)
- Trent Green, Dolphins. Age: 38.
- Signed with Rams (3 years, $8.9 million)
- Marques Tuiasosopo, Jets. Age: 29.
- Signed with Raiders
- Dan Orlovsky (RFA), Lions. Age: 25.
- Re-signed with Lions (1 year)
- David Carr, Panthers. Age: 29.
- Signed with Giants (1 year, $1 million)
- Lester Ricard, Jaguars. Age: 24.
- Signed with Panthers
- Jared Zabransky, Steelers. Age: 24.
- Trent Dilfer, 49ers. Age: 36.
