Do the Broncos stand a chance this week? If Simms start, I'm going to cry. I think the Broncos can run on San Diego which will help the defense out. I'm just not that optimistic.

If Simms/Brandstater starts, Denver loses by 17.
If Orton starts, the game is within 10 points, and it should be a good one.
I think getting better play from Hochstein/Olsen/Hamilton and getting McBean back is important to this game.
Not sure of the status of McBean or Harris though.
So how worried are you guys about the 0-3 after bye start? Is this just a funk or was the team playing great the first 6 weeks and coming back to earth?

At Baltimore was a tough game. Pittsburgh is a very good football team. I'm only pissed about Washington which is NOT a very good football team. At 7-2, we wouldn't be having this conversation. I never thought I would say this, but, gawd I hope Orton is good enough to go.

I believe if Brandstater was farther along, Simms would have been cut. I do think Hochstein played better than Hamilton and is definitely a better run blocker. Having McBean back would mean a lot too.
