    Baseball thoughts

Stud of the week- Albert Pujols, 1B, Cardinals

Pujols already has 4 homers and 13 RBI.

Dud of the week- Jimmy Rollins, SS, Phillies

Rollins is batting .111 (4 of 36). Jimmy Rollins also has yet to steal a base, which is understandable because it's hard to steal bases when you can't get on base in the first place.

Well my only thought is about how bad the DBacks hitting and pitching has been. The start to this season has sucked thus far

The AL West is no longer the Angels personal playground and Josh Johnson for the Marlins is gonna make a serious run at the Cy Young this year.

I forgot to add my Braves thoughts.

The Braves and the Marlins went into their series 5-1. The Braves came out 5-4. Relief pitching was a disaster. Kenshin Kawakami pitched his first MLB stinker. Batting was mostly terrible.

The brightest spot in the series was actually Jeff Francoeur. Frenchy was 5 for 11 in the series and he is now batting .303 with 7 RBI. Not superstar numbers, but certainly not slump numbers. Best of all, he's been consistent. He's only gone one game without a hit.

Im fairly disapointed in the Twins so far this season. We started out nice 3-2, but since then we have just been bad 1-5. Im happy with Morneau's season so far, but Lirianio has been nothing but terribly disappointing. 0-3... come on, Lirianio you were supposed to be a major CY Young candidate.

Overrate/one of the worst players ever player to win a MVP?

Also, the Yankees need to get their bullpen together. Sabathia will improve as the season progresses (he's a notoriously slow starter) but Wang has been terrible. I would go as far as to suggest putting him on the DL and letting Hughes get a couple of starts in the MLB.

Except when he plays those dastardly Rangers.

Who, by the way, still suck and break my heart 4 times a week. Most homers in the majors, but a staff ERA of over 5.3. wtf?
