Well round about the time I really got into NFL, I mean when I was younger I would watch the Superbowl with my dad, but it wasnt until probably 2000 i decieded to support a team of my own, and because Id been on holiday there and owned a shirt I followed the Dolphins for a few years, but I kind of felt like I was jumping on a bandwagon as they had such an illustrious history. So when it was announced Houston would be getting an expansion franchise I thought this was my perfect opportunity for a clean start with a new team, so in the future whatever happens I can say I was a Texan when it happened. Im glad I support Houston because while holidaying in Florida in 2004 I met some Texans who spotted me wearing a #8 shirt... and they were really nice and friendly. So there it is kinda long winded but its all good :P

That's awesome, i didn't know we had such an international fanbase.

Im really glad Im a Texans fan to as it looks as though with a strong draft and if we learn how to beat the Titans maybe we could make a wild-card this season!

Yeah, the curse of VY (which is weird considering that SUPER Mario was the better pick.) It's so messed up how we can beat the Jags frequently, but rarely beat the titans.

Its crazy I mean its not as if they have shut down corners either, I could understand if we try to run and struggled against Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch!

I personally think that he has good size, speed, catching. He obviously had a monster college year and will probably be in the 3rd or 4th rd. normal years he would be in the 2nd or 3rd rd.

Yeah, the homer in me hopes the Dolphins grab him with their pick in the 4th but that seems unlikely because RB is one of the very few positions that isn't a need for them.

I think he will be a steal for whoever gets him.

Welcome to the forums that1guy. Smith has great numbers on the field, but I don't think he will be anymore then an NFL backup.
