Because Favre can put the ball where his reciever and only his reciever can get it. Put Jackson back there, people KNOW he cannot make those throws. Favre makes his recievers better.

Minnesota has been awful at run defense this year. He has drafted good players in the last 4 drafts. Chad Greenway has turned out very well, AP, well is AP, and Percy Harvin is excellent. He finds talent. You have no argument.

I've read it varies how much Coaches have true say. I'm sure someone could clear this up. Certainly the coach gives some insight scheme wise, but I don't think I would go around touting all those picks as Childress.

Most of the time their is this thing called a war room where they have a board with who they want on it. Then they pick, based on all the advisers and what the coach wants.
