Thread: Can ANYONE give me tips on how to throw the deep ball?

  1. Can ANYONE give me tips on how to throw the deep ball?

Hey, GoBlue11, here! I'm wondering how you throw the deep ball?

The thing is... I've never considered football as a carrer. Was 10ish (I'm a stinking lier about my age.) when Rich Rod came over and started running the offence I love (Spread Option) with my moveset I suddentely realised I had a chance to play FOOTBALL for Michigan!

I'm all set with one pet peeve. I can't throw the ball more than 20 yards.

Are there any tips to improve my arm strengh?

Chad Henne. Offically 7-6 as a starter.

    Chad Henne's biggest fan ever!

Give me ANY conversation and I WILL turn it to the Wolverines.

Attend the University of Iowa and work under Kirk Ferentz & Ricky Stanzi. As Warren and the rest of the UM secondary found out, Iowa knows how to throw a deeper pass with touch

OK, smack talk aside. Lift weights, throw the football everyday. Just practice.

I'll make sure that when I'm watching our Wolverines in the upcoming years, I keep my eyes peeled for a jersey that reads "GoBlue11" on the back. Weights and throwing the ball every day is the right answer. You need to strengthen your hands and arm.

  4. Thanks for the tips! Today's windy and cold in my part of the US but I think I can lift weights!

The best thing to do is throw the ball for 15 minutes everyday. Or steroids

Legs and core are important as well, but throwing about every day will be the most help.

Improving your strength, not just your arms really your entire body will help. But, throwing length isn't something you can improve much. Either you'll have it, or you won't.

If you can't throw 20 yards, and you're more than like 12... probably have to look at another position.

Wear arm weight when you whack it... That's what my football coach always told the QBs
