Fantasy Football Week 6 Wide Receiver Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy wide receiver rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

2013 Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings - PPR: RB | WR | TE

Updated 10/10 - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos (vs. Jaguars) - 23 Points
    8 Catches, 110 Receiving Yards, 2 TDs.

  2. Dez Bryant, WR, Cowboys (vs. Redskins) - 19 Points
    9 Catches, 130 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Dez Bryant should see a ton of targets in a shootout.

  3. Calvin Johnson, WR, Lions (at Browns) - 18 Points
    9 Catches, 120 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Calvin Johnson should be back. He has to deal with Joe Haden, but that's no reason to consider sitting him.

  4. Brandon Marshall, WR, Bears (vs. Giants) - 17 Points
    8 Catches, 110 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
There's no reason to think Brandon Marshall won't have a big game.

  5. Pierre Garcon, WR, Redskins (at Cowboys) - 17 Points
    7 Catches, 110 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  6. A.J. Green, WR, Bengals (at Bills) - 16 Points
    8 Catches, 100 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Josh Gordon just lit up Buffalo's secondary.

  7. Victor Cruz, WR, Giants (at Bears) - 16 Points
    7 Catches, 100 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Keep Victor Cruz in your lineup despite his team's struggles.

  8. Torrey Smith, WR, Ravens (vs. Packers) - 16 Points
    6 Catches, 100 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Green Bay's secondary stinks, so Torrey Smith should have another big game.

  9. Reggie Wayne, WR, Colts (at Chargers) - 15 Points
    7 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The difference between the Seattle and San Diego secondaries is like night and day.

  10. Josh Gordon, WR, Browns (vs. Lions) - 15 Points
    6 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
There are rumors that Josh Gordon could be traded to the 49ers, so Cleveland will keep showcasing him.

  11. Randall Cobb, WR, Packers (at Ravens) - 15 Points
10 Rushing Yards, 6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  12. Wes Welker, WR, Broncos (vs. Jaguars) - 14 Points
    7 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  13. Hakeem Nicks, WR, Giants (at Bears) - 14 Points
    6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Hakeem Nicks rebounded last week. He should be a solid play again.

  14. Terrance Williams, WR, Cowboys (vs. Redskins) - 14 Points
    5 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Terrance Williams proved he's worth starting in Miles Austin-Jones' absence.

  15. Jordy Nelson, WR, Packers (at Ravens) - 14 Points
    5 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Start any Packer wideout you can get your hands on.

  16. Eric Decker, WR, Broncos (vs. Jaguars) - 13 Points
    6 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
A weekly WR2 play despite being the No. 3 wideout.

  17. Justin Blackmon, WR, Jaguars (at Broncos) - 13 Points
    6 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
There's no rust here. Justin Blackmon looked awesome in his debut. Look for garbage-time yardage.

  18. Vincent Jackson, WR, Bucs (vs. Eagles) - 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Vincent Jackson had two weeks to heal his injured ribs, but nothing was done to help the poor quarterback situation.

  19. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts (at Chargers) - 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  20. James Jones, WR, Packers (at Ravens) - 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  21. Danny Amendola, WR, Patriots (vs. Saints) - 12 Points
    5 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Danny Amendola should play more snaps this week.

  22. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals (at 49ers) - 12 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Larry Fitzgerald has just one touchdown in the past four weeks.

  23. Steve Smith, WR, Panthers (at Vikings) - 12 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
No more Patrick Peterson for Steve Smith to deal with.

  24. Austin Pettis, WR, Rams (at Texans) - 11 Points
    5 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Sam Bradford seems most comfortable throwing to Austin Pettis.

  25. Kendall Wright, WR, Titans (at Seahawks) - 11 Points
    5 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  26. Anquan Boldin, WR, 49ers (vs. Cardinals) - 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  27. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers (vs. Colts) - 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Quickly emerging as Philip Rivers' preferred downfield option.

  28. Kenbrell Thompkins, WR, Patriots (vs. Saints) - 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
With Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski back, Kenbrell Thompkins won't be as much of a factor.

  29. Denarius Moore, WR, Raiders (at Chiefs) - 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  30. Andre Johnson, WR, Texans (vs. Rams) - 10 Points
    7 Catches, 100 Receiving Yards.
Andre Johnson definitely looked healthy last week versus Seattle's fierce secondary.

  31. Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs (vs. Raiders) - 10 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Alex Smith's physical limitations are destroying Dwayne Bowe's fantasy potential.

  32. Alshon Jeffery, WR, Bears (vs. Giants) - 9 Points
    7 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards.
Alshon Jeffery's not going to get 200 yards every week, but he should dominate New York's pathetic defense.

  33. Marques Colston, WR, Saints (at Patriots) - 9 Points
    7 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards.
Marques Colston should rebound off last week's performance despite dealing with Aqib Talib.

  34. Antonio Brown, WR, Steelers (at Jets) - 9 Points
    7 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards.

  35. Cecil Shorts, WR, Jaguars (at Broncos) - 9 Points
    6 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards.
Cecil Shorts still remains a startable player with Justin Blackmon back.

  36. Golden Tate, WR, Seahawks (vs. Titans) - 9 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
A different Seattle receiver will lead the team in yardage each week. It's a situation to avoid.

  37. Sidney Rice, WR, Seahawks (vs. Titans) - 9 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  38. Rueben Randle, WR, Giants (at Bears) - 7 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards.

  39. Vincent Brown, WR, Chargers (vs. Colts) - 6 Points
    5 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  40. Donnie Avery, WR, Chiefs (vs. Raiders) - 6 Points
    5 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  41. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans (vs. Rams) - 6 Points
    5 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  42. Mike Williams, WR, Bucs (vs. Eagles) - 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  43. DeSean Jackson, WR, Eagles (at Bucs) - 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.
    DeSean Jackson gets Darrelle Revis.

  44. Chris Givens, WR, Rams (at Texans) - 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  45. Marlon Brown, WR, Ravens (vs. Packers) - 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  46. Greg Jennings, WR, Vikings (vs. Panthers) - 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  47. Santana Moss, WR, Redskins (at Cowboys) - 5 Points
    6 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  48. Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots (vs. Saints) - 5 Points
    5 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.
Julian Edelman is just a flex at best with Danny Amendola back.

  49. Stevie Johnson, WR, Bills (vs. Bengals) - 5 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.
Stevie Johnson is battling a nagging injury and a backup quarterback.

  50. Michael Floyd, WR, Cardinals (at 49ers) - 5 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  51. Stephen Hill, WR, Jets (vs. Steelers) - 5 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  52. Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Colts (at Chargers) - 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  53. Ted Ginn, WR, Panthers (at Vikings) - 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  54. Jerome Simpson, WR, Vikings (vs. Panthers) - 5 Points

  55. Robert Woods, WR, Bills (vs. Bengals) - 4 Points

    4 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  57. Nate Washington, WR, Titans (at Seahawks) - 4 Points
    4 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.
Nate Washington is nothing without Jake Locker.

  58. Eddie Royal, WR, Chargers (vs. Colts) - 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  59. Jason Avant, WR, Eagles (at Bucs) - 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  60. Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets (vs. Steelers) - 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  61. Rod Streater, WR, Raiders (at Chiefs) - 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  62. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Steelers (at Jets) - 4 Points

    3 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

Walt is putting a lot of credence on this Cleveland Browns pass defense. Look at the QB's that the Browns have played this year. Not one of them has been an elite passer. Also, this game is in Pittsburgh. I understand that Joe Haden will keep Mike Wallace under wraps, meaning the targets will go elsewhere. Start Antonio Brown with confidence.

Walt you put Antonio Brown pretty high for saying the Browns have one of the strongest Pass defenses. Maybe because A.brown is more of a slot receiver? Can anyone help me decide between Anonio Brown and Mike Williams. They are ranked 21 and 22 respecively above.

Antonio Brown (up)
Mike Williams (down)

Thanks!
