NFL Week 17 Fantasy Quarterback Rankings
|
To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.
Below are my fantasy quarterback rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. The rankings are based on a traditional scoring system. Compensate for PPR and touchdown leagues accordingly. |

2012 Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings: QB | RB | WR | TE | DEF
Updated 12/30 - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
- Peyton Manning, Broncos
The Chiefs don't stand a chance.
- Cam Newton, Panthers
The Saints struggle to tackle, so Cam Newton should have a big game.
- Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Aaron Rodgers had trouble solving the Vikings' defense a few weeks ago, but he's still a top play.
- Drew Brees, Saints
Carolina's defense has played well lately, but stopping Drew Brees in the Superdome is nearly impossible.
- Tom Brady, Patriots
Tom Brady scored only once against the Dolphins when he played them last time. That's not a surprise because Miami has the No. 1 red-zone defense.
- Russell Wilson, Seahawks
Ruskell Wilkens has been amazing since Week 9, racking up 15 passing touchdowns, three rushing scores and only two picks in that span.
- Robert Griffin, Redskins
Robert Griffin's fantasy value isn't as high if he can't run, but Dallas' pathetic secondary will allow him to build up his passing yardage.
- Tony Romo, Cowboys
Tony Romo is on fire, but Washington's defense has been much better lately.
- QB Eagles No. 7, Eagles
QBDK is a turnover machine, but New York's defense is a mess right now.
- Matthew Stafford, Lions
Matthew Stafford is struggling because he has only one target to throw to, albeit the best receiver in the NFL.
- Colin Kaepernick, 49ers
Colin Kaepernick struggled against the Seahawks. Arizona's secondary has been awesome lately, so don't expect a rebound performance. The rushing yardage will help though.
- Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger just lost Heath Miller and could be without Mike Wallace.
- Eli Manning, Giants
What's happened to Eli Manning? Playing the Eagles could help, but he's struggling big time.
- Matt Schaub, Texans
Matt Schaub had more touchdowns in that overtime thriller against the Jaguars (5) than he has in the past five weeks (4). He's not a strong option.
- Terrelle Pryor, Raiders
Terrelle Pryor will start for the Raiders. He can be started because of his rushing ability.
- Andy Dalton, Bengals
The Bengals have nothing to play for, but Marvin Lewis said he'll play his starters.
- Matt Ryan, Falcons
The Falcons have nothing to play for, so they could rest their starters.
- Andrew Luck, Colts
The Colts have nothing to play for, so they could rest their starters.
- Joe Flacco, Ravens
The Ravens have nothing to play for, so they could rest their starters.
- Philip Rivers, Chargers
- Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins
- Chad Henne, Jaguars
- Jake Locker, Titans
- Josh Freeman, Buccaneers
- Jay Cutler, Bears
- Sam Bradford, Rams
- Brian Hoyer, Cardinals
- Christian Ponder, Vikings
- Mark Sanchez, Jets
- Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills
- Thaddeus Lewis, Browns
- Brady Quinn, Chiefs
- Brandon Weeden, Browns (out) - 12/30
- Colt McCoy, Browns (out) - 12/30
- Nick Foles, Eagles (out) - 12/26
- Greg McElroy, Jets (out) - 12/28
- Carson Palmer, Raiders (out) - 12/26
