There will be many more Fantasy Football Rankings and features in the late spring and summer, including tons of 2014 Fantasy Football Mock Drafts, Player Rankings, Sleepers and Busts. I’ll also have an extensive 2014 NFL Fantasy Football Preseason Stock Report.
2014 Fantasy Football Stock Report: Running Backs
Montee Ball, RB, Broncos 
Knowshon Moreno is gone for good. Shortly afterward, Adam Schefter tweeted out that the Broncos have lots of confidence in Montee Ball. Some other publications touted Ball as a fourth-round fantasy pick last year, which was foolish because John Fox doesn’t like to play rookies. That won’t be an issue in 2014, and Ball is a top-eight fantasy runner.
Reggie Bush, RB, Lions 
The Lions re-signed Joique Bell, and it appears as though they want to utilize more of a run-based attack. This will hurt Reggie Bush’s fantasy value.
Toby Gerhart, RB, Jaguars Toby Gerhart signed with the Jaguars to be their main running back. His arrow is obviously pointing up, but he’ll be overdrafted; he’s just not that talented.
Steven Jackson, RB, Falcons The Falcons improved their offensive line in free agency by signing Jon Asamoah. Mike Tice, one of the better offensive line coaches in the NFL, will also help. Jackson is a nice buy-low candidate.
Rashad Jennings, RB, Giants Rashad Jennings’ stock automatically goes up with the Giants, given that he won’t have to split carries with anyone until David Wilson returns. Jennings could have a solid year, but he’ll probably be overdrafted in relation to his talent level.
LeSean McCoy, RB, Eagles LeSean McCoy is still a top fantasy running back, but you have to believe that his numbers (mostly receptions) will go down in the wake of the Darren Sproles trade.
Darren McFadden, RB, Raiders As predicted, Darren McFadden re-signed with the Raiders. He’s giving Oakland another year because he’s being properly trained for the first time His workout habits were atrocious prior to this offseason, so we could definitely see a new-and-improved McFadden in 2014.
Bernard Pierce, RB, Ravens Ray Rice has been indicted on a count of aggravated assault, so he could be facing a suspension. Bernard Pierce could be in for a big year.
Ray Rice, RB, Ravens Ray Rice has been indicted on a count of aggravated assault, which carries a 3-5 year prison sentence. It remains to be seen if Rice will actually be behind bars or not, but there’s little doubt that he’ll be suspended.
Ben Tate, RB, Browns Ben Tate will start for the Browns in 2014, so he’ll get an up arrow. Unfortunately, Tate hasn’t shown the ability to stay healthy, missing 24 games in four seasons. He’ll probably be overdrafted.
