These 2014 Fantasy Football Kickers Rankings will be updated often throughout the summer, so make sure you check back from time to time. Updated 6/3

  1. Stephen Gostkowski, K, Patriots. Bye: 10.
Stephen Gostkowski was one of the NFL’s top kickers last year, drilling 38-of-41 tries, including 5-of-6 from 50-plus.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 30-34 FG (4-5 from 50+; 9-12 from 40-49). 55 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 162.

  2. Phil Dawson, K, 49ers. Bye: 8.
Phil Dawson re-signed with the 49ers, who have to be thrilled to have him back. Dawson went 32-of-36 last year with 4-of-6 tries from 50-plus.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 31-36 FG (8-9 from 50+; 5-7 from 40-49). 46 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 160.

  3. Matt Prater, K, Broncos. Bye: 4.
Matt Prater hit 25-of-26 kicks in 2013, including a record-setting 64-yarder. His only miss came from beyond 50, where he was 6-of-7.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 27-30 FG (4-5 from 50+; 6-8 from 40-49). 65 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 160.

  4. Justin Tucker, K, Ravens. Bye: 11.
Justin Tucker was the NFL’s top kicker in 2013, hitting 38-of-41 tries, including 6-of-7 from 50-plus. Unfortunately, he doesn’t post enough extra points to be a very strong fantasy kicker.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 33-37 FG (5-6 from 50+; 9-11 from 40-49). 36 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 154.

  5. Dan Bailey, K, Cowboys. Bye: 11.
Dan Bailey was one of the top kickers last season, hitting 28-of-30 tries, including an awesome 6-of-7 from 50-plus. He was rewarded with a 6-year, $22.5 million extension.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 29-31 FG (5-6 from 50+; 9-10 from 40-49). 44 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 150.

  6. Steven Hauschka, K, Seahawks. Bye: 4.
Steven Hauschka whiffed on just two of 35 tries in 2013, which was just remarkable. He’s one of the top fantasy kickers to own.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 29-32 FG (3-4 from 50+; 9-10 from 40-49). 48 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 150.

  7. Blair Walsh, K, Vikings. Bye: 10.
Blair Walsh took the league by storm as a rookie in 2012, drilling 35-of-38 tries, including a perfect 10-of-10 from 50-plus. He wasn’t as good in 2013, missing three of five tries from beyond 50, but he was still 26-of-30 overall.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 30-34 FG (6-8 from 50+; 7-8 from 40-49). 40 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 149.

  8. Sebastian Janikowski, K, Raiders. Bye: 5.
Sebastian Janikowski failed to drill at least 80 percent of his field goals for the first time since 2007. He was just 21-of-30. I’m sure he’ll rebound in 2014.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 30-35 FG (5-8 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 36 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 144.

  9. Mason Crosby, K, Packers. Bye: 9.
Mason Crosby was awful in 2012, hitting on just 21-of-33 attempts, including 2-of-9 from 50-plus. He was on the hot seat, but managed to rebound with a 33-of-37 effort this past season. Will this more-accurate Crosby stick around, or will he revert to 2012 form?

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-32 FG (3-6 from 50+; 6-8 from 40-49). 53 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 143.

  10. Nick Novak, K, Chargers. Bye: 10.
Nick Novak has done a solid job in relief of Nate Kaeding. He was 27-of-34 in 2011, 18-of-20 the year after and 34-of-37 this past season. He’s hit 8-of-13 from 50-plus in that span.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 27-30 FG (3-4 from 50+; 7-9 from 40-49). 44 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 138.

  11. Matt Bryant, K, Falcons. Bye: 9.
Matt Bryant looked done in Tampa Bay at one point. Apparently, he was not. Bryant went 28-of-31 in 2010, 27-of-29 in 2011, 33-of-38 in 2012 and 24-of-27 this past season. This includes 28-of-35 from 40-49 and a perfect 10-of-12 from 50-plus. He may lose some of his leg strength now that he’s 39, but he plays for a great offense in a dome.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 27-32 FG (3-4 from 50+; 7-10 from 40-49). 44 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 138.

  12. Robbie Gould, K, Bears. Bye: 9.
Robbie Gould has hit at least 83.3 percent of his field goals the past eight years. In addition to his excellent accuracy, he’s also a near-perfect 11-of-12 from 50-plus the previous three seasons.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-30 FG (3-4 from 50+; 7-9 from 40-49). 46 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 135.

  13. Graham Gano, K, Panthers. Bye: 12.
Graham Gano was awesome in his first full season with the Panthers, hitting 24-of-27 attempts, including a perfect 6-of-6 from beyond 50.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 25-29 FG (4-6 from 50+; 7-9 from 40-49). 44 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 134.

  14. Ryan Succop, K, Chiefs. Bye: 6.
Ryan Succop struggled in 2013, going just 22-of-28, including 1-of-4 from 50 and farther. He hasn’t been above 82.4 percent since his rookie campaign in 2009.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-32 FG (2-4 from 50+; 8-11 from 40-49). 42 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 132.

  15. Adam Vinatieri, K, Colts. Bye: 10.
Adam Vinatieri turned 41 in December, but that didn’t stop him connecting on 4-of-6 field goals from 50-plus last year. He has to decline eventually though.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-32 FG (3-5 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 40 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 132.

  16. Shaun Suisham, K, Steelers. Bye: 12.
Shaun Suisham didn’t try a 50-yarder last year, but he still went an excellent 30-of-32, including a perfect 8-of-8 from 40-49. Suisham is just 5-of-13 from 50-plus in his career.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 27-31 FG (0-0 from 50+; 9-11 from 40-49). 42 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 132.

  17. Shayne Graham, K, Saints. Bye: 6.
Shayne Graham replaced a struggling Garrett Hartley last season. He may not keep his job either.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 24-30 FG (1-3 from 50+; 5-8 from 40-49). 52 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 131.

  18. Greg Zuerlein, K, Rams. Bye: 4.
It was strange to see Greg “The Leg” Zuerlein attempt just two kicks from 50-plus last year. That figure should rise. Zuerlein, by the way, connecting on 26-of-28 attempts in 2013.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-30 FG (3-5 from 50+; 7-8 from 40-49). 38 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 129.

  19. Rob Bironas, K, Titans. Bye: 9.
Rob Bironas drilled at least 84.4 percent of his field goals all but one year since 2007. He had a strong 2013 campaign, connecting on 25-of-29 tries, including 2-of-3 from 50-plus.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 26-30 FG (2-3 from 50+; 6-8 from 40-49). 41 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 129.

  20. Jay Feely, Cardinals. Bye: 4.
Jay Feely has hit on at least 83 percent of his field goals every year except one since 2005. He went 30-of-36 in 2013, but only 3-of-5 from beyond 50. He’s a free agent, however.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 25-31 FG (2-4 from 50+; 10-12 from 40-49). 39 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 128.

  21. Alex Henery, K, Eagles. Bye: 7.
Alex Henery was a disappointing 23-of-28 in 2013. He tried just two kicks from 50-plus, hitting just one of them. He’s 2-of-5 from beyond 50 in his career.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 24-29 FG (1-2 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 46 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 128.

  22. Mike Nugent, K, Bengals. Bye: 4.
Mike Nugent strangely attempted just 22 field goals in 2013. That was obviously an anomaly, as he tried 23 kicks in 12 games the year before. Nugent did connect on 3-of-4 attempts from 50-plus.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 23-28 FG (2-3 from 50+; 7-10 from 40-49). 42 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 128.

  23. Randy Bullock, K, Texans. Bye: 10.
Randy Bullock struggled mightily during the first half of the season. There was some speculation that he’d be replaced, but he nailed his final 12 tries of the year.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 25-32 FG (1-3 from 50+; 7-11 from 40-49). 42 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 126.

  24. Nate Freese, K, Lions. Bye: 9.
Nate Freese was signed to be Detroit’s new kicker; the team needed one after David Akers struggled last year. Freese instantly has fantasy potential, given that he’ll be in Detroit’s high-powered offense.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 23-29 FG (2-4 from 50+; 6-8 from 40-49). 45 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 124.

  25. Dan Carpenter, K, Bills. Bye: 9.
Dan Carpenter re-signed with the Bills on a 4-year deal. He’s just not much of a fantasy option.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 25-32 FG (2-4 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 36 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 123.

  26. Caleb Sturgis, K, Dolphins. Bye: 5.
Caleb Sturgis struggled at times as a rookie, connecting on just 26 of his 34 tries, including 3-of-7 from beyond 50.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 24-31 FG (2-4 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 37 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 121.

  27. Kai Forbath, K, Redskins. Bye: 10.
Kai Forbath was just 18-of-22 in 13 games this past season. He’ll have more attempts if Robert Griffin bounces back, but he still isn’t someone you want to count on, especially given that the team used a draft pick on Zach Hocker.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 22-27 FG (2-4 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 42 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 120.

  28. Nick Folk, K, Jets. Bye: 11.
Nick Folk had his best season at the right time, given that he’s a free agent. He was 33-of-36, including a perfect 3-of-3 from 50-plus. If he stays in New York, he won’t have the extra points to be relevant in fantasy leagues.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 25-29 FG (3-5 from 50+; 7-9 from 40-49). 30 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 118.

  29. Josh Brown, K, Giants. Bye: 8.
Josh Brown had a solid 2013 campaign, drilling 23-of-26 attempts, though he tried just two kicks from 50 and farther. He hit just one of them. He’s just 2-of-6 from 50-plus the past three seasons.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 23-27 FG (1-3 from 50+; 6-7 from 40-49). 40 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 117.

  30. Josh Scobee, K, Jaguars. Bye: 11.
Josh Scobee was 23-of-25 last year, but he won’t be a viable fantasy option until the Jaguars find a real quarterback. Blake Bortles could be the answer, but he’s just a rookie this season.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 24-27 FG (3-4 from 50+; 8-10 from 40-49). 29 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 115.

  31. Billy Cundiff, K, Browns. Bye: 4.
Billy Cundiff was Cleveland’s kicker last year; he went 21-of-26. The team re-signed him to a 1-year deal.

    Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 22-27 FG (1-3 from 50+; 7-9 from 40-49). 35 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 110.

  32. Connor Barth, K, Buccaneers. Bye: 7.
Connor Barth was 26-of-28 in 2011 and 28-of-33 the year after, but he tore his Achilles prior to the 2013 campaign. He may not be the same kicker.

Projected 2014 Fantasy Stats: 0-0 FG. 0 XP.
    Projected 2014 Fantasy Points: 0.
