2013 Fantasy Football Stock Report: Wide Receivers
Danny Amendola, WR, Patriots 
Danny Amendola goes from Sam Bradford to Tom Brady. Think he’ll see an uptick in production? Amendola will probably be overdrafted though, as he still shouldn’t be trusted to stay healthy. If he can remain on the field, however, there’s no reason why he can’t match Wes Welker’s numbers.
Eric Decker, WR, Broncos 
Wes Welker was a great addition for the Broncos. Eric Decker’s fantasy owners won’t be so happy, however, as Welker will steal a large number of targets away from him.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald must be happy. After enduring the awful quarterbacking of John Skelton and Ryan Lindley last year, Fitzgerald now has Carson Palmer throwing to him. Palmer is nowhere near the quarterback he once was obviously, but he’s still good enough to get the ball downfield consistently to his wideouts. Fitzgerald is a top-10 receiver again.
Brian Hartline, WR, Dolphins Brian Hartline will be back with the Dolphins in 2013. He has a strong rapport with Ryan Tannehill, so that’s good. Unfortunately for him, Miami brought in Mike Wallace, Dustin Keller and Brandon Gibson, all of whom will take targets away from Hartline.
Percy Harvin, WR, Seahawks This is an obvious stock-up entry because Percy Harvin gets to go from Christian Ponder to Russell Wilson. Think that’s a bit of an upgrade?
Greg Jennings, WR, Vikings On the flip side of things, Greg Jennings goes from Aaron Rodgers to Christian Ponder. Blegh. Jennings proved that he didn’t care about his football career by making the move to Minnesota, so given that he’s content with the money, it’s fair to expect him to bust.
Donald Jones, WR, Patriots Another dynamic where a receiver gets an upgrade at quarterback. Donald Jones had just 41 receptions for 443 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games this past season. Those are all career highs. He’ll undoubtedly shatter those marks in New England if he gets the opportunity to play. Things could change after the draft, but Jones is currently slated to start.
Denarius Moore, WR, Raiders Denarius Moore can’t be happy about the quarterback change on his team. Carson Palmer was far from a Pro Bowler, but he at least could get the ball downfield to his speedy receiver. Matt Flynn is too limited to do that consistently.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Steelers Mike Wallace is gone, so Emmanuel Sanders will step into the starting lineup. The Steelers could easily find another starter in the NFL Draft, but Sanders is the No. 2 option for now, so he has decent fantasy value.
Rod Streater, WR, Raiders I liked Rod Streater as a sleeper last summer. The rookie dropped some passes in the opener, so he wasn’t used much – until December. He caught 16 passes for 351 yards and a touchdown in his final five games. That’s not bad. Now, Darrius Heyward-Bey is gone, so Streater will be a full-time starter.
Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos Like Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas will see fewer targets with Wes Welker in the mix. Thomas is less likely to be affected than Decker though.
Mike Wallace, WR, Dolphins Mike Wallace just went to Ben Roethlisberger to Ryan Tannehill. The latter has shown promise, but he’s not even close to Big Ben territory yet. Wallace’s numbers will take a dive in his new home.
