Emmitt on the Brink. The premise: Coming off a Super Bowl victory, the Patriots open the 2013 season with a blowout win. Unfortunately, they get into trouble for Spygate II. As punishment, Roger Goodell orders the Patriots to fire Bill Belichick and replace him with Emmitt Smith. Three years later, the Patriots beat the Bears in the Super Bowl, 2-0. After the game, Emmitt announced his retirement. This is a weekly feature that will take a newspaper reporter’s perspective and follow Emmitt through his post-retirement days. EVIL EMMITT RETURNS TO THE SCENE OF THE CRIME

Evil Emmitt knew exactly where he would have to go in order to open the portal to the evil realm. It was where he was forced into it the first time when real Emmitt and the Skittle Warriors stopped him once they discovered that he was the force behind Bountygate II three years ago.
“We gonna have to goes back to my almond martyr,” Evil Emmitt told Ezekiel Elliott, Dante Fowler and Michael Vick. “My almond martyr the University of Florida City State.”
Though Evil Emmitt got the words wrong, Elliott, Fowler and Vick followed him anyway, mostly out of fear. Except Fowler, of course, who was promised there would be lots of tasty food available on Evil Emmitt’s former college campus.
Evil Emmitt and his crew went straight for the Gators’ football locker rooms upon arrival.
“I thought we were going to the commons,” Fowler complained. “They’re serving tacos today. I was going to get eight tacos and chocolate pudding.”
“No time for that, you fat f***er,” Elliott snapped. “Emmitt, let’s do this!”
“Yes, I agree on Alexpole Emmilliot,” Evil Emmitt said. “Beside, how can somebody go to a common? A common another word for thing that not noncommon, the opposite word of not noncommon I forgetted what these word are but it opposite of word not noncommon.”
Evil Emmitt led his group to the toilet area of the locker room. In front of the three urinals that were secluded from the others, there were three circular holes that Evil Emmitt focused on.
“I remember these,” Fowler said fondly. “This is where, according to legend, Urban Meyer used to leave money and various gifts for the three players who performed the best each game. I wish they did that when I was playing here; I would have boughten many cookies and cakes with these prizes.”
“I like cookie and cake,” Evil Emmitt said. “When I has a good piece of cookie, I say that one damned good find good damn piece of cookie. But enough about rememberniscing, it time to offer gold to the Irvin Meyers hole, so we comin’ back full square.”
Evil Emmitt took the three golden spheres out of his handbag.
“This first gold sphereorb from Jerry Johnson representin’ confident in yourselfs even when you not suppose to be confidence,” Evil Emmitt said, placing the first sphere in the leftmost hole.
“This second gold sphereorb from Irvin Meyers representin’ money you can used to buy peoples to do thing and then take advantagement of themselfs,” Evil Emmitt said, placing the second sphere in the middle hole.
“This eighth gold sphereorb from Andy Red representin’ ability to mistmanage the clock so much everybody get anger at you but you still not gonna do anything to fix itselves.
Now, with these sphereorb in these spot, we got time from Andy Red, money from Irvin Meyers, and the confident from Jerry Johnson that I can conquerment time and money,” Evil Emmitt said, placing the third sphere in the remaining hole.
The ground immediately shook, and the portal to the dark realm opened.
REAL EMMITT RETURNS TO THE SCENE OF THE CRIME

Real Emmitt had obtained the Sword of Legendary Sword, but his quest was far from over.
“We have to get you back to the real world, Emmitt,” the striped leopard said.
“Do we have any idea where the portal will open up?” the single ranger asked.
“I knowed exactmently where he gonna open up,” real Emmitt said.
The team made preparations to depart, but the two Mannings informed the group that this was where they would part ways.
“This is going to be the end of the road for us, we have to remain here, we have no place in the real world, and I don’t want to go anyway, because from what you told me, my real-world counterpart is weak, and I run things here, and I probably wouldn’t run things in the real world, because my brother is not a pansy there, OK maybe a bit of a pansy, but not a complete pansy like this version of my brother, isn’t that right, Peyton, no wait don’t say anything because you’re worthless you idiot, anyway, we’ve been through a lot, I gave you my rice of passage, then there was a bridge, then I left for a while, then I came back, then we went to this forest, then we got rid of that weird fairy, then Emmitt got this sword, then I called my brother a pansy, now we’re going to depart, but as a parting gift, please take my dog, he’s going to be very useful to you in your travels back to the real world, and I have a gut feeling he’s going to help you in some way, just like my deck of cards did, why else would the author introduce a dog I have randomly?” Eli Manning said in one breath.
“Goodbye, Alex Mannington,” real Emmitt said. “You beens a great helpfulnessly. And tell Parton Mannington I say goodbye when he get out of the bandwagon.”

Real Emmitt, the striped leopard, the single ranger and Eli’s dog went back to where this all began for Real Emmitt – the University of Florida City State.
The travel back was much easier than their early journey. Debaclation wisps attacked real Emmitt and his crew, but real Emmitt’s Sword of Legendary Sword was a huge boon for them, as it shot out electric currents when real Emmitt was at full strength. The power of the Sword of Legendary Sword allowed real Emmitt to cut down the debaclation wisps in one cut. Stone monsters also attacked as well, but the sword did wonders on them as well. Real Emmitt didn’t even need to kill two stones with one bird anymore.
Soon enough, the group was back at University of Florida City State. Real Emmitt led the team to the football locker rooms, down to the toilet area. There was a single urinal secluded from the others with a rectangular hole in front of it.
“This where we going back to the real world,” real Emmitt said. “Are everybody ready?”
“Yes, but the big question is, are you?” the striped leopard asked. “You’ll have to face a foe who defeated you easily. He knew your every move. You have to be prepared, Emmitt, or all hope is lost.”
“Well, I guessed we gonna find out,” real Emmitt said. “At the very leastment, if hope become lost, we just gonna look for him in the lost and found.”
Real Emmitt raised the Sword of Legendary Sword and thrust it into the rectangular hole. The group was quickly enveloped in a blue light.
