2011 NFL Draft E-mails – Hate Mail
Don’t you guys find it a little funny that as soon as Mel Kiper mocks Cam Newton to the Bills, Walt scrambles to make a new mock that has the Bills drafting Newton? There’s no viable source or any evidence that justifies Walt changing his pick suddenly to Newton other than Kiper’s mock.
–> I actually released my mock about 12 hours before Mel Kiper, so if you want to be technical, Kiper copied me :-). Maybe you should send him some hate mail instead.
The pick makes sense. The Bills need a quarterback. Newton’s stock is on the rise after his private workout. Reports indicate that the Bills like Newton. It seems like it’s bound to happen.
Nobody knows what character concerns he is referring to about Ryan Mallett. This guy thinks he has inside information that he cannot reveal, thus making him feel special when people ask about his character concerns.
–> I don’t need to do that to make myself feel special. My mommy says I’m special, so I know I’m special.
Oh, and here’s an e-mail from Tom P. who actually agrees with me about Mallett:
I am a current UArk student and as such love the Hogs, so that will get rid of the haters. If you want Mallett character issues, see if you can find information on Scantron gate, his reaction to it (it would make a 2-year-old blush), his locker room conduct at UMich and his tardy policy to classes. Also, the Hog offense did not miss a beat with Wilson under center, as he almost beat two top ranked teams while Mallett was out with a concussion.
Mallett is this year’s Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell: a huge physical talent without the brains or drive to put it together. He feels entitled (more so than Clausen, we remember his reaction to the number issue UnderArmour Bowl back in 2007) and does not do the work needed to be elite. Mallett is not popular on a campus that loves its football. That should be the biggest sign.

–> Even if Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert are off the board? That’s smart. I can just hear the Vikings brass thinking, “Let’s take a crappy quarterback we could just draft in Round 2 with the No. 12 pick! That’ll make us awesome!”
OK WTF Ben Chppel should go in the 2nd round he is the 5th best QB in the draft (also ahead of cam newton) and Doss was the best WR in the big ten how is he not at 3rd round pick at least

Leonard Hankerson to the Colts is not going to happen guarenteed. Extremely stupid
–> So, let me get this straight. The Colts need a receiver. Leonard Hankerson, if he’s still on the board, would be the best player available in the middle of Round 2. Yep, no chance that happens. Extremely stupid indeed.
