NFL Draft Mailbag Notes: These are not actually e-mails. They are comments left on the comment board in my 2011 NFL Mock Draft. I've included some of these comments and my responses to them.

2011 NFL Draft E-mails - Combine Hate Mail

--> True story. As a Penn State alumnus and fan, my hatred for Auburn runs deep since, you know, Penn State and Auburn are huge rivals. In fact, it was I who poisoned the trees! Muhahahahahahaha!!!

--> The 40 was what got Trent Williams drafted over Russell Okung. If 40s aren't important, why does every single coach sit there with a stop watch and write everyone's time down? And besides, if you run a great 40, Al Davis will give you a 3-year, $31.5 million contract.

Adding you dont know anything when it comes to strategy. Russel Okung is a straight-ahead blocker he would struggle in a zone blocking scheme compared to Trent Williams.. thats something that Mike Shannahan runs if you didnt know.
--> And that's something the Seahawks run as well, if you didn't know - and yet Russell Okung had a much better rookie year than Trent Williams.

When Mallett speaks I want to slap him, he sounds like an incredibly arrogant wigger. I do think he'll be a good qb for somebody though, especially if he gets picked between the 2nd and 3rd round as that should put him in his place and humble him a bit. Also, whenever Sanchez opens his mouth I want to slap him too, I bet Claussen wishes he had B Edwards and Holmes to throw to.

I laughed / felt sad simultaenously at the April Fools' mock when Qalt gave us a Tight End. Because it's true, and it's almost a joke now.

Who are these pole smokers(not that there's anything wrong with that). The April fools mock was funny as sh!t. There is no proof to show that Mallet isn't dumb as sh!t. And I have no clue who Chris Hope is but if Walter says he sucks then he must be sh!t

Haha wonderlic scores. Mallet got a 26, which means he'll be incredibly better than Marino, Bradshaw, or Jim Kelly who all had 15s. BETTER PICK MALLET FAST!

Hey TT one name for you. PACMAN JONES, he's the DB that Tennessee drafted 6th overall in 2005. He also spent the equivalent of three years (Slight Exaggeration) either suspended or in jail. He is also the reason why a Las Vegas bouncer can't walk. You want to compare Pacman to Talib. Really if thats what you want knock yourself?

Wow. It never ceases to amaze me how many looneys are out there that would take something like the April Fools Mock so bloody serious. It was all for fun. Holy crap guys with all the serious analysts out there arguing strenuously over each mocked pick it's nice to throw a little humor in there every now & again. I look forward to jerks of the week and I'm proud to say I've been following the site long enough to have been here since the first jerk of the week.
Therefore you angry people who hate on Walter for his site and his humor, you're my jerks of the week.
