The Panthers don’t have any speed at receiver. They need some players at the position who can separate.

Xavier Worthy is a shifty receiver with good length.

If you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.

Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it at the top. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!

Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Also, if you’d like to support the site, check out my book! It’s available on Amazon, and it’s called A Safety and a Field Goal.

Take a look:

A Safety and a Field Goal

You can buy it here. It has some NFL Draft-related topics, so like I said, if you want to support the site, this is a great way to do it!

NFL Team Logo for Patriots New England Patriots: Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida Image for FLA

It almost doesn’t matter who’s at quarterback; the Patriots need to improve their dreadful receiving corps.

Ricky Pearsall has plus speed and route-running ability.

Pick change; previously Keon Coleman, WR

NFL Team Logo for Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois Image for ILL

The Cardinals need multiple defensive linemen to replenish all the talent they’ve lost recently.

Johnny Newton lacks size and length, but he’s a great disruptor in the interior.

Pick change; previously Graham Barton, OT/G

NFL Team Logo for Redskins Washington Redskins: Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame Image for ND

The Redskins had one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL last year, so they’ll have to focus on upgrading their secondary.

Cam Hart is a big cornerback who limited Marvin Harrison Jr.

NFL Team Logo for Chargers Los Angeles Chargers: Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State Image for FSU

The Chargers have great edge talent, but they could stand to improve the interior of their defensive line.

Braden Fiske is a quick, athletic interior pass rusher.

NFL Team Logo for Titans Tennessee Titans: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina Image for

Excluding Calvin Ridley, the Titans don’t have much at receiver outside of Treylon Burks as a long-term replacement for DeAndre Hopkins.

Xavier Legette has been a rising prospect. He is a massive receiver and has good speed for his size.

NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri Image for Mizz

The Panthers lost Donte Jackson in the Diontae Johnson trade, so here’s a replacement at cornerback.

Ennis Rakestraw is a versatile defensive back with quality size.

Pick change; previously Chau Smith-Wade, CB

NFL Team Logo for Redskins Washington Redskins: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State Image for FSU

Jahan Dotson had a disappointing second season, while Curtis Samuel is gone. The Redskins will have to consider adding a receiver in the second round.

Keon Coleman is a massive receiver with quickness and good ball skills.

Pick change; previously Marist Liufau, LB

NFL Team Logo for Packers Green Bay Packers: Chris Braswell, OLB, Alabama Image for ALA

The Packers could stand to add another front-seven player to help defeat the Lions and their great offensive line.

Chris Braswell has huge upside as someone who has rotated with other talented edge rushers at Alabama.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan Image for MICH

The Texans lost some interior defensive line talent this offseason, so they’ll have to find replacements early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Like his father, Kris Jenkins Jr. is a disruptive interior presence.

Pick change; previously Michael Hall Jr., DT

NFL Team Logo for Falcons Atlanta Falcons: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama Image for ALA

The Falcons have nothing at receiver outside of Drake London and Darnell Mooney, if you can count him.

Jermaine Burton didn’t produce at Georgia, but bad quarterback play hurt him.

NFL Team Logo for Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Kingsley Suamatia, OT, BYU Image for BYU

The Raiders really wanted Paris Johnson in the 2023 NFL Draft, but the Cardinals sniped him off the board via trade. Here’s another tackle.

Kingsley Suamatia has amazing athleticism for a tackle of his size.

NFL Team Logo for Saints New Orleans Saints: Johnny Dixon, CB, Penn State Image for PSU

The Saints struggled at cornerback across from Marshon Lattimore, so the position could be addressed soon.

Johnny Dixon is a very quick and instinctive cornerback.

NFL Team Logo for Colts Indianapolis Colts: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon Image for ORE

There are rumors the Colts could trade for A.J. Brown. If they don’t get a deal done, they may spend an early pick on a receiver.

Troy Franklin has great size and the ability to be an underneath receiver.

NFL Team Logo for Giants New York Giants: Darius Robinson, DT, Missouri Image for Mizz

The Giants lost Leonard Williams at the trade deadline last year, so here’s a replacement.

Darius Robinson is versatile enough to play in the 3-4 or 4-3. He was an effective pass rusher at Missouri.

NFL Team Logo for Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State Image for NC State

The Jaguars don’t have much talent at linebacker, so they could address the position in the second round.

Payton Wilson has had mixed evaluations. He flew all over the field for N.C. State.

NFL Team Logo for Bengals Cincinnati Bengals: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami Image for MIA

The Bengals have a weak secondary. They need to upgrade this area because they’re getting shredded every week.

Kamren Kinchens has great instincts and ball skills.

NFL Team Logo for Eagles Philadelphia Eagles: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia Image for UGA

The Eagles have two stud receivers, but nothing beyond them. They need a better third wideout.

Ladd McConkey projects as a gritty slot receiver at the next level.

NFL Team Logo for Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers: Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky Image for

Diontae Johnson is gone, so the Steelers will need to find a new receiver.

Malachi Corley lacks height, but is a thickly built receiver.

NFL Team Logo for Rams Los Angeles Rams: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M Image for TA&M

The Rams are poor versus tight ends, so they can stand to get better over the middle of the field.

Edgerrin Cooper is an explosive linebacker with huge upside.

NFL Team Logo for Eagles Philadelphia Eagles: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia Image for UGA

The Eagles had horrific play from their cornerbacks this year. They’ll need to address the position on multiple occasions this offseason.

Kamari Lassiter has the upside to be a cover cornerback in the NFL.

Pick change; previously Javon Bullard, CB/S

NFL Team Logo for Browns Cleveland Browns: Jonah Elliss, OLB/DE, Utah Image for

Za’Darius Smith is just a short-term solution across from Myles Garrett.

Jonah Elliss had a tremendous ’23 season rushing the passer. He’s undersized, so he’ll be a rotational edge player.

Here’s another offensive lineman for the Dolphins, who need to continue to bolster their poor pass protection.

Julian Pearl is a versatile, athletic blocker.

NFL Team Logo for Cowboys Dallas Cowboys: Trey Benson, RB, Florida State Image for FSU

Tony Pollard was a huge bust, so the Cowboys will be looking for a new running back.

Trey Benson is a tough downhill runner who showed off unexpected athleticism at the combine.

NFL Team Logo for Buccaneers Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Javon Bullard, CB/S, Georgia Image for UGA

The Buccaneers were weak to the pass last year, and things can only get worse with Carlton Davis gone.

Javon Bullard is a safety or a nickel cornerback who projects similarly to Chauncey Gardner-Johnson.

NFL Team Logo for Packers Green Bay Packers: Cole Bishop, S, Utah Image for

The Packers have issues at safety that they needed to address earlier.

Cole Bishop makes plays all over the field.

Pick change; previously Johnny Newton, DT

NFL Team Logo for Lions Detroit Lions: Layden Robinson, G, Texas A&M Image for TA&M

The Lions have a great offensive line, but they lost Jonah Jackson to free agency.

Layden Robinson isn’t very athletic, but he’s a violent blocker who has impressed this season.

NFL Team Logo for Ravens Baltimore Ravens: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington Image for Wash

The Ravens could use another receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. being a short-term option.

Ja’Lynn Polk has a nice blend of size, speed, and route-running ability.

NFL Team Logo for 49ers San Francisco 49ers: Marshawn Kneeland, DE, Western Michigan Image for

The 49ers lost some pass rushers this offseason, so here’s a new one.

Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t overly productive at Western Michigan, but looked good at the Senior Bowl.

Pick change; previously Chop Robinson, DE/OLB

NFL Team Logo for Chiefs Kansas City Chiefs: Cooper Beebe, G, Kansas State Image for KSU

Andy Reid loves bolstering the offensive line, so he could do that on multiple occasions early on during the 2024 NFL Draft.
