You don't think the depth at DT will lead the Pats to look elsewhere in the 1st round knowing they'll get good value there in the 2nd or 3rd? John Jenkins falling to the early 3rd screams Belichick pick, especially if he gets to them with the 91st.

Sorry dude, but that's one really bad draft for the Rams. They have no starter at either Safety position and you have them selecting no safety in the first five rounds. Unless you have some plan for them to get two safeties in free agency, this is awful. Fluker will not happen unless they trade Saffold in the next three weeks. Safety and WR are the only 1st round possibilities.

Round 1: Trade to team that's fallen in EJ Manuel or one of the other QB's That wont make it to them for 2nd and 3rd rounds picks.
Round 2a (from trade): Margus Hunt
Round 2b: John Jenkins or Phillip Thomas
Round 3a (from trade): Montee Ball
Round 3b: Ryan Swope
Round 4: Brian Schwenke
Round 5: TJ McDonald or Chase Thomas or Jordan Hill
Round 5 (Compensatory): Dion Simms or Shane Skov

We're taking a middle lb first round. no question about it. we will either go wr-mlb or dt-mlb

I really like the Texans mock except for the first 2 rounds. Though they both have injury concerns, I would prefer getting Keenan Allen over Justin Hunter, since Allen appears to have more upside. With Owen Daniels and Garrett Graham in place, I think it would make more sense to use the 2nd round pick on OT or LB. We could find a TE/FB type player with either of the 3rd rounders or the 4th round pick.

i don't understand the 49ers draft strategy you have depicted here.. there's no way they take a luxury pick at TE in the 1st round when they have such glaring needs at Safety and D-Line.. especially considering they can get SDSU's TE in the 3rd or 4th rounds for better value then Eifert in the 1st.. they go with Hunt or Jones in the 1st, Cyp in the 2nd and Jamie Collins in the back end of the 2nd.. i do like and agree with Lattimore pick a lot though, well done. and thanks for finally dropping Robert Woods out of a Niners uniform guy will be a bust

seriously, i'd like to see a bit more effort put in to this entire draft man, I know the draft isn't an easy thing to predict but with a little common sense your mock would be a lot better. Personally i don't believe the Bills would or should reach for a receiver in the first round unless its Austin. Picking up a solid replacement for Andy Levitre makes more sense considering how deep this class could potentially be at Receiver. Also, before even considering a "down field threat" shouldn't they at least have someone in place to throw said threat the ball? Chance Warmack or Geno Smith are better projected picks for Buffalo. As for the rest of the draft i'm surprised at the jets pick even though it makes a lot of sense for the team it doesn't exact ally correlate with their past picks (given the have a new GM in place) but I find it hard to believe that the wouldn't pull the trigger on Matt Barkley if he's there at 9th overall considering how hostile the fan base is. Moreover Lotuleilei shouldn't by any means be available past the 5th or 6th pick regardless of medical concerns when he's on the field he's going to make plays and thats more than can be said about most other prospects. If i'm the GM of the lions and i know that i can get a solid pass protecting lineman in round 2 or 3 I jump at the chance to get Star and pair him with Suh and Nick Fairley and absolutely dominate opposing offense lines.

I don't think the Bears will go with a Linebacker in the first round now that they signed both DJ Williams and James Anderson. While they may draft one in later rounds, I think it is clear that they will address the offensive line or wide receiver in the first round.

Great 49ers draft, there are guys at each spot I would take ahead of the guys you mocked, but as a whole the draft is very solid.

Just a little confused, you say Powell is an ILB? He's a DE now at Harding, would be a 3-4 OLB for us, not ILB.

I get your reasoning behind Jets taking Star (you could've thrown in there that we lost DeVito as well). But you failed to mention K.Ellis (who we drafted as a developmental prospect to be the future NT) and D.Harrison (who played well last year when given the chance)- partly what made DeVito expendable. Throw in Garay and all of a sudden our interior line is not so bad. Especially surrounded by two talented bookends in Wilk and Coples.

Star would be a good VALUE pick as for a while he was the top prospect in the draft. But not from a NEEDS aspect.

Now, if the draft ends up like this, the Jets will certainly trade down.

Understandably, you are not incorporating trades in this mock...so if the Jets stand pat I would not be surprised if they took Star, Warmack or (if Revis is traded) X.Rhodes (who I actually like MORE than Milliner b/c of his size and physicality).

PS..i know Tao's pro day was during this mock so i wont get on you for having him at 52..he's not the next Ray Lewis, but he'll be a 10yr starter and contributor, along with being the most productive MLB in college, and real football people knowing that a MLB has to 1st Read & React very fast, run 5-10yrds forward fast, and drop 10-20yrds in coverage kinda fast...Tao is all of those things over 3 years of production..but ill let you nerds put him back in the 1st round because of his Pro Day Numbers.....Walt..oh and as a Strength & Speed coach for a team, ill let you nerds in on a secret..the difference between a 4.7 and a 4.8 is 1.5 steps, or aprox 3ft..So your saying from Top 5 and about $5million a year, to pick 52 and about $4.5million less, for 3ft haha..my money is on him going a lot closer 5 than 52...im sure that when all your smarter peers continue to push him back up their draft boards, you will too..#COPY&PASTESHEEP

Lions Die-Hard..hahaha well as a proud hater of the packers im glad to see your Stable of TEs will have to wait a whole One Round to be added too, so thanks for that laugh again walt..8weeks running...As for my lions, your 100% right,character is NO issue at all...we just told a 2yr pro that was a 2nd rounder to 'Kick Rocks' for character issues, and hired a Player/Personel guru who speciality is finding the best Talent to Character ratio (as apose to the tride and true Raiders, Bengels, and Lions 'ran a 4.4-robbed a bank-draft him strat)..have you completly lost it Walt..Not only is Demontre Moore slower than our projected 1st round pick..THE OFFENSIVE TACKLE..He doesn't jump off the film, while his year totals show consistancy it is a tad misleading, when your team averages 80+ plays a game and your Defense alows more than that per game, it is not a daunting task to lead a Middle of the Pack Big12 Defense in sacks in the SEC...it's like going home with the stripper with the least amount of kids, your still garenteed to wake up to crying and a pixi stick in your ear.
