Debaclation Nation

Welcome to the new Debaclation Nation, a fancy title for this Web site's new poll center.
Each Wednesday, I'll post an interesting (or boring) Debaclation Nation poll so you can vote and argue over it. I'll keep the Debaclation Nation polls archived, so you can go back and keep arguing or see who was right. Who was ranked most inaccurately in the Top 100 Players of 2011? July 6 |

I think you could have made an argument for Devin Hester to be right around 100 if this was the Top 100 of 2010, but since the kickoffs are being moved up this year hes pretty much worthless.

This ranking needed to include your "blue" picks.
Shafting Joe Thomas was a far worse crime than reaching for Tony Gonzalez, though IMO Gonzalez was the worst of the bunch. This whole process proves why players should not be entrusted with any voting process involving on the field performance. And, yes, THAT INCLUDES THE PRO BOWL.

Legacy aside, Patrick Willis will no doubt play at a higher level than Ray Lewis. The torch will pass next season, count on it.

@Vick?
Tom Brady got all the votes for MVP so technically the rest of the NFL was runner up MVP...

How can it not be Devin Hester?! All he does is return kicks. I'm not saying he's not dynamic, but how can he be ranked above Greg Jennings and Brandon Lloyd: real receivers who actually run routes and catch touchdown passes?

Ugh, I don't know how many times I have to spell it out. It's not that he killed dogs. It's how he killed them. If you want to support and love a guy who drowned dogs and took bets on how long they lasted, be my guest. I refuse to support and love a sick psychopath, but maybe I'm crazy.

Actually Aaron Rodgers was the worst. he should've been 1st or 2nd. McNabb didn't belong in the list though.

Walt, you need to get off Vick's dick. I don't like him because of what he did, but you need to calm down.
It's just a dog. He was convicted of killing what 13 dogs? Realistically im sure it was many many more, but i mean tops probably 100...tops. How many chickens died during the time i typed this post? 4.5 million probably - just b/c we keep dogs as pets its completely different? Granted, i get the difference in killing chickens or whatever for food while the way Vick killed the dogs was quite, well psycho. But its still just a dog. I guess Football players are not allowed to move on with their life after making mistakes? He screwed up. Payed the price. Now he's speaking to thousands of people to teach about where he went wrong so others don't fall in line. Take the blinders off and see what he's done since then. Maybe he's just trying to save his reputation, maybe he's not sorry, maybe he's a psycho...But you still can't deny that he's done good things since than, and it's pretty clear he's a changed man. What trouble has he gotten in since then? He's going out of his way to stay out of trouble, hanging out with the right people, not going out looking for trouble, etc. He's definitely changed in that regard. I just think you need to calm down with Vick.

I have to agree with Walt, Michael Vick is not the only QB who could have been successful with DeSean Jackson going over the top against the likes of Reed Doughty ...

It has to be McNabb. He didn't throw for multiple touchdowns until week 10 last season and only had two games with multiple touchdowns all season. The Redskins might be a terrible team but I bet you Brees or Rivers would have more success on that team than McNabb.

He was the MVP runner-up because of that game. Re-watch the Vikings and Packers games, and you'll agree with me and the 50 or so people who voted for him.

So what if the average fan overreacted to that game? Are the average fans the ones voting on the MVP award? The guy finishes as MVP runner-up and you still think #20 is too good for him.

The average fan overreacted to that MNF game against Washington. The Redskins quit in that game, so you can't take that seriously.
