When the Titans make such claims to liken Zach Mettenberger to a "poor man's Tom Brady" and all of that, what they are really saying to the rest of the NFL is: let's make a deal more than anything, and they can do it by talking up their QB even though everyone on earth knows better.  By talking up their QB so much, it is almost a sure thing that the #2 pick in the Draft will be traded for multiple selections later on, and this is probably the smartest move by the Titans. But they just have to be smart to pick the right team with the best positions/most to give away - probably the Browns (between the Browns, Rams, Eagles and Chargers). The Chargers and Eagles could trump with either Rivers and Bradford thrown in, which could make the trade more attractive, although the Titans would be smart to stay away from Bradford.
