| The following chart comprises the weigh-in numbers for the defensive linemen at the 2012 NFL Draft Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. 40 Times: As I explained on Twitter (@walterfootball), the official 40 times are incorrect, and they've been proven false via the NFL Network's simul-cam. For the 40 times, I use the NFL Network's unofficial times, which are more accurate. NFL teams use their own timed 40s anyway, so the official 40s are meaningless. |

Just watched tape of both Brockers and Worthy against Georgia and Worthy beats Brockers hands down. Sorry but I just don't get what you see in Brockers Walt.

Man Walt you have a unrelenting mancrush on Michael Brockers. Every other combine coverage source is saying he's having a bad combine but you found a way to spin it somehow that his stock is actually up simply because he got fatter. I'm telling you Walt this guy is your Jimmy Clausen this year. Most of your analysis is good but you always have one epic fail in the bunch and this is your guy for 2012. He's going be nothing but a run stuffer in the NFL and he won't play 3 downs.

How about Chandler Jones? He seems like the best guy no one talks about. All of his measurables were good (or at least decent), including having the longest arms in the group. I know both of his brothers are pro-athletes and I think he was a NY state champ wrestler in high school. I've seen him relatively high on some mocks, but I haven't really heard anyone talking about him.

I don't really get all the Brockers love. Sounds like he didn't play much, his game tape isn't anything special, and he had a poor combine. Basically he's all potential. A lot of other lineman had better days. Still, Cox, Poe, Ingram, Coples, I have a hard time understanding how he'd get chosen over any of them.
Is there any example of a guy with a history of him becoming a legit starter in the NFL?

I thought Jake Bequette was pretty right there with ingram. The thing about him is that he was at LB at the Senior Bowl for the first time and did not look out of place. Gotta believe he's going to be a great value pick for that prototypical strong side LB.
Also like what I see from Cam Johnson. Has the look of a versatile DE and his scores support that.

No arrow up for Ronnell Lewis?
6'2 253lbs, 36 reps, 4.65 40. 1.65 10 yard split and a respectable 31 inch vert....I think he put his name back into late round 1 consideration.
