Kyshoen Jarrett, S, Virginia Tech
Height: 5-10. Weight: 200. 40 Time: 4.57. Projected Round (2015): 6-FA.
4/25/15: Jarrett had a huge game to help the Hokies upset Ohio State on the road in 2014. He recorded two interceptions, one pass broken up and five tackles. The senior didn't play well against Miami, Pittsburgh or in other games. Jarrett totaled 88 tackles, five passes broken up, one forced fumble and three interceptions in 2014. He could go undrafted.
6/14/14: Jarrett contributed to an outstanding secondary for the Hokies last year with 71 tackles with two interceptions. Alongside the Fuller brothers and Brandon Facyson, Jarrett had a lot of good play around him. He broke into the starting lineup as a sophomore in 2012 and recorded 83 tackles with, 4.5 tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and four passes broken up. Jarrett still has plenty of good talent around him to produce a big 2014 season.
Personal: Son of Vinise Capers. Majoring in human development.
Luther Maddy, DT, Virginia Tech
Height: 6-1. Weight: 293. Projected 40 Time: 5.25. Projected Round (2015): 5-7.
1/31/15: Maddy had nine tackles with .5 tackles for a loss in four games in 2014. He put more pressure on the quarterback than the numbers indicate, but he still needs to get bigger for the NFL. Maddy missed eight games after having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
8/23/14: Maddy has a quick first-step and well-developed pass-rushing moves. He was wise to return to school for his senior year since he needs to add more power for the NFL. Maddy tallied 55 tackles with 13.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks in 2013. He has been an excellent pass-rusher on the inside and puts a lot of heat on the quarterback. As a sophomore, Maddy got nine starts and recorded 35 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks.
Personal: Son of Jumelle and Muraline Maddy. Majoring in apparel, housing and resource management.
I feel like the bears are more likely to go after a top LT to protect trubisky, then again, good luck trying to guess where they're going in the draft lol, every pick in this draft is was saying really? Or who? Or why? Lol I hope it pans out, but I was not happy with the bears 2017 draft
@BrianColtsFan Couldn't agree more. I could maybe buy the argument that the Colts HAD to draft an OL high, or use multiple picks on OL, if this had been a strong year for OL. It wasn't. It was the weakest in memory. Defence was a WAY more pressing issue, and I think the Colts ended up using their draft capital superbly.
