By the way, the fourth-annual Walter/Joker Annual Challenge is on, as I'll be competing with the Joker's College Picks. We each pick five games and see who does the best each week.
Ball State at Kent State Line: Ball State by 1. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be); I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
Ball State just pulled off two upset victories, but now it's a road favorite. I don't like that change in dynamic for them. Kent State's in a good spot.
College Football Pick: Kent State +1 (1 Unit) -- Correct; +$100
Arizona State at California Line: California by 1.5. Saturday, 4:00 p.m.
California is coming off two consecutive brutal losses to Ohio State and USC. It could be out of gas against a superior Arizona State squad.
College Football Pick: Arizona State +1.5 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300
UTEP at East Carolina Line: East Carolina by 4.5. Saturday, 7:00 p.m.
UTEP battled Wisconsin tough last week. I think that'll give the Miners some encouragement. They should be able to pull the upset here.
College Football Pick: UTEP +4.5 (3 Units) -- Incorrect; -$330
Texas-San Antonio at New Mexico State Line: Texas-San Antonio by 1. Saturday, 8:00 p.m.
Texas-San Antonio is undefeated and shouldn't have any issues with a New Mexico State squad that just lost to New Mexico.
College Football Pick: Texas-San Antonio -1 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
Oregon State at Arizona Line: Arizona by 2.5. Saturday, 10:00 p.m.
The wrong team is favored in this matchup. Oregon State is really good, while overrated Arizona couldn't do anything against Oregon. The Wildcats will be flat coming off that loss.
College Football Pick: Oregon State +2.5 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300
@BEARDOWNsssssss @Walter plus you have stated that right now Kizer and Trubisky are rated higher by teams and you even believe Davis Webb could be higher, so theres gotta be at least 2 of those quarterbacks available at that 36-40 juncture
@Walter, not to take anything away, but don't you think that, if the Bears do get rid of Cutler (mind you, Rapoport said there was a good chance he would stay), don't you think they would select a defensive back/BPA since they need playmakers then in the second round (or trade up back into the 1st) select Deshaun Watson? It does make sense.
