It's funny that Boise State is known for its Smurf Turf homefield advantage, yet they always seem to cover the spread as large road favorites. This veteran Bronco team knows how to take care of business.

Minnesota at Purdue
Line: Purdue by 10.5.

I don't like the fact that Purdue is a double-digit conference favorite here coming off a loss as a dog. This seems like a pretty bad spot for the Boilermakers.

Illinois is coming off an emotional win in a very close game over rival Northwestern. I don't think they'll cover two touchdowns at frisky Indiana.

Iowa at Penn State
Line: Penn State by 4.

Penn State is my alma mater. I've watched this Nittany Lion team for weeks now, and it's like spending three hours in a dentist's chair each time. They can't score, and their quarterbacks stink. Iowa owns Penn State, and should be able to upset us again.

Kansas at Oklahoma State

I usually don't take high favorites like this, but I don't see how Kansas can possibly contain this red-hot Oklahoma State team coming off rest. The Jayhawks were blown out by Georgia Tech a few weeks ago, 66-24. This one could be uglier.

In the Alamo bowl OSU beat them 36 to 10. I dont see how they can stop OSU and since they are a pass 1st offense (Arizona) they will put up points, but not enough to keep OSU from drilling them again.
