LSU at Mississippi State
Line: LSU by 3.5.
Thursday, 8:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games; I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
This is a WalterFootball.com special. I love this situation. You have a home underdog under the weeknight lights where the public is pounding the visitor despite the fact that the spread is moving toward the host's direction. This is a huge game for Mississippi State. I think they win.
College Football Pick: Mississippi State +3.5 (4 Units) -- Incorrect; -$440
Auburn at Clemson
Line: Clemson by 3.5.
Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
I really have to wonder why Clemson is favored in this game. Auburn had a stinker in the opener, so that makes me think that's playing into this line. I don't think that should matter at all; War Eagle had a nice rebound performance last week against Mississippi State. They're the better of the two Tiger teams.
College Football Pick: Auburn +3.5 (3 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$330
Duke at Boston College
Line: Boston College by 7.
Saturday, 12:30 p.m.
I can't believe I'm picking Duke, but Boston College is complete garbage. At least the Blue Devils are a fuctional team. The Eagles are even worse.
College Football Pick: Duke +7 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
Syracuse at USC
Line: USC by 16.5.
Saturday, 8:00 p.m.
Hey, at least this time USC can't push the spread 30 minutes after blocking a game-winning field goal and return it for a non-touchdown. I'm going against the Trojans again. They're really overrated.
College Football Pick: Syracuse +16.5 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Stanford at Arizona
Line: Stanford by 10.
Saturday, 10:45 p.m.
Nick Foles looks lost without his star receiver, Juron Criner. It doesn't look like Criner will play in this game, and even if he does, he won't be 100 percent. This Stanford team is on a mission, and the Wildcats don't have what it takes to stop them.
College Football Pick: Stanford -10 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300

locked in at -4.5
this is a big-time televised HOME game!! Miss st. is now getting points because everyone is on the LSU wagon. This is a pivitol game for a good team. LSU has depth but I think Miss st. just might come out and pull off an upset 4 units on Miss St 2 units under

Bigri30 I'm with you on that under. I saw that as the only play for me, with so few points going towards Miss st.
I was hoping for a point or two shift towards LSU but it's stayed at 3.5. If it moves to 4.5 I'm hitting Miss St.

I honestly hate this game b/c I was high on Miss St. at after making huge dough on them at the end of last season, but not sure they are ready to make the next step.
Mississippi State was in an unfamiliar position last week, and the Bulldogs showed that they weren't ready to handle the favorites' mantle. Back in the familiar role of underdog against LSU, expect State to show more focus than it did at Auburn. The best play is the Under 49 I actually feel as though adversity works well so I will be taking a 7pt teaser on Miss St. My line - Miss St. +10.5 and Under 56 for 1 unit @ -130 The Bulldogs don't match up that well, though, with a fatal mismatch at left tackle that will cause trouble on passing downs and a banged-up defense that defends the pass better than physical rushing attacks like the one possessed by LSU. Home underdogs have a fantastic track record on Thursday nights, but LSU is a team gaining confidence, while the Bulldogs have lost some of that after a defeat they were not expecting. Redshirt freshman Blaine Clausell will start at left tackle for Mississippi State in place of James Carmon, who left last week's game with a knee injury.
BIG TIME BRO!!!

Rollin with the Bayou Bengals 2nite......BIG TIME BRO!!! I am tired of playing the WEEKNIGHT HOME DOG card. It doesn't work when u are a battering ram of ballsack known as the SEC power LSU BAYOU BENGALS. I'm taking LSU -3.5 and ML (-165) that's how much I dig the kittens over the pups 2nite! MISS ST had their chance 2 show themselves against Auburn last night and couldn't meet the challenge, and LSU is a different beast with a top notch D. Bring the cowbell all day....Miss State is not elite, and LSU is......BIG TIME BRO!!!

Against Ok. State, Nick Foles was 37 for 51, 397 yards, 1TD and no Interceptions. Without Criner, the rest of his team might suck and be poorly coached but Foles looks far from lost.
