By the way, the fourth-annual Walter/Joker Annual Challenge is on, as I'll be competing with the Joker's College Picks. We each pick five games and see who does the best each week.

LSU at Mississippi State
Line: LSU by 3.5.

Thursday, 8:00 p.m.

As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games; I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.

This is a WalterFootball.com special. I love this situation. You have a home underdog under the weeknight lights where the public is pounding the visitor despite the fact that the spread is moving toward the host's direction. This is a huge game for Mississippi State. I think they win.

College Football Pick: Mississippi State +3.5 (4 Units) -- Incorrect; -$440

Auburn at Clemson
Line: Clemson by 3.5.

Saturday, 12:00 p.m.

I really have to wonder why Clemson is favored in this game. Auburn had a stinker in the opener, so that makes me think that's playing into this line. I don't think that should matter at all; War Eagle had a nice rebound performance last week against Mississippi State. They're the better of the two Tiger teams.

College Football Pick: Auburn +3.5 (3 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$330

Duke at Boston College
Line: Boston College by 7.

Saturday, 12:30 p.m.

I can't believe I'm picking Duke, but Boston College is complete garbage. At least the Blue Devils are a fuctional team. The Eagles are even worse.

College Football Pick: Duke +7 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200

Syracuse at USC
Line: USC by 16.5.

Saturday, 8:00 p.m.

Hey, at least this time USC can't push the spread 30 minutes after blocking a game-winning field goal and return it for a non-touchdown. I'm going against the Trojans again. They're really overrated.

College Football Pick: Syracuse +16.5 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110

Stanford at Arizona
Line: Stanford by 10.

Saturday, 10:45 p.m.

Nick Foles looks lost without his star receiver, Juron Criner. It doesn't look like Criner will play in this game, and even if he does, he won't be 100 percent. This Stanford team is on a mission, and the Wildcats don't have what it takes to stop them.

College Football Pick: Stanford -10 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300

My bad, I will remember, no jokes allowed (that was certainly not rubbing it in). And further, I didn't 'fade you'; I was on that game since Monday and just gave my opinion in the discussion, but going forward I will be more sensitive. But I do stand by the fact that NC State is not good.

No knowledge on tonight.

I had a decent week in college football last week. My lines may be a bit off because I got them early, but here's what I took.

G.T. -7.5
LSU -7
Pitt +8

G.T. ha been rolling lately, LSU has covered every week so far, and Pitt isn't that bad. They should be able to keep this game close with Ray Graham. Thoughts??

Brother don't let the kiddies get to ya. If they don't post their name don't bother responding. You make 20 posts and some jackbag tells you your an idiot because you didn't get em all right, who cares. Keep up the posts, the adults appreciate it.

I like Walter much better in the NFL than NCAA however this year off to a bad start. In NCAA I like Ohio State (yes, THE Ohio State) on a bounce back with Miller at home against helpless Colorado. Also like LSU, Alabama and East Carolina. IN the NFL I do like Walter's two big plays this week. I'll add an angry Baltimore team to those two

What crap did I talk...all I said is I wanted more info on why he is running with Cincy... and not "they are no good". Everything I was seeing was going the other way...obviously I was way off... but it does happen from time to time...Congrats to all who won... Vegas took it in the arse... and that's why we talk a game through here..

And you below...thanks for your insight, it's invaluable to this site.

All over cinci -7.5 tonight, collaro is straight dirty, keep a mental note. I love Boise and plan on riding them all year as well. Also love the ND play. Notre Dame is pretty good and has shook off the cob webs. im leanin on ucf tomorrow night tho. Over all i like a lot of walts picks ncaa and nfl. Also on Gatech -7, Penn st comin off an ugly game will crush, LSU and there fast defense -6, Bama will work arkansas at home, arkansas is nothin like years past. I also kinda like oklahoma, florida, and nebraska covering there 17-21 point spreads. The texas am and ok st game is gonna be a great one tomorrow. Im leanin tex am but this one scares me big time. i recommend not betting and just enjoying the game as a fan of football. Good luck guys, lets make some coin
