@simon says The Redskins defense has given up 2 passing TDs to WRs in the last 5 games. Opening night was a fluke. It's not a great defense, but it is solid and improving in the second year in under Barry. They're also surprisingly good at forcing turnovers and were that way last year as well. They're 3 missed open TD passes in week 2 away from being 5-1 with a 3-0 division record.

Kansas State at Oklahoma. Line: Boise State by 7. Friday, 10:15 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (which is saying a lot). Follow @walterfootball for updates.
It's amazing how teams will be ranked if they're undefeated. Records don't mean a damn thing, and Boise State could've easily lost some games to mediocre teams. BYU has been a covering machine this year, so I don't see why the Cougars couldn't stay within a touchdown in this matchup.

College Football Pick: BYU +7 (2 Units)
N.C. State at Louisville. Line: Louisville by 19. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
Louisville didn't play very well last weekend against Duke, but that may have been because of a hangover following the Clemson loss. The Cardinals should be able to bounce back against an N.C. State team that shouldn't be rated too highly for beating Notre Dame.

College Football Pick: Louisville -19 (1 Unit)
Texas A&M at Alabama. Line: Alabama by 18. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
I'm pretty surprised that Texas A&M is the No. 6 team in the country. I'm not sure what they did to deserve this, as the Aggies' biggest win was a tight triumph over Tennessee team that wasn't very good. Alabama is much better than A&M and should win in a blowout.
College Football Pick: Alabama -18 (2 Units)
TCU at West Virginia. Line: West Virginia by 6.5. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
West Virginia is in the top 15 despite not really having beaten anyone. They are undefeated, but they easily could've lost to BYU and Kansas State. TCU, meanwhile, has endured some bad luck. They played closely with Oklahoma and Arkansas, so if they were undefeated, what would this spread be? I think there's good value with TCU in this spot.
College Football Pick: TCU +6.5 (3 Units)
Oregon State at Washington. Line: Washington by 36.5. Saturday, 6:30 p.m.
The Huskies might be the best team in college football after Alabama, but no one in the media thinks that because they don't play in the SEC or Big Ten. The Huskies have beaten much better teams than Oregon State by more than this spread, defeating Stanford and Oregon by 38 and 49, respectively.
