Round 1

1. Texans: Jadeveon Clowney, Defensive End, South Carolina

The Texans new coach, Bill O'Brien, knows they need a QB, but could opt for best prospect at this point. They can get their QB later.

2. Rams: Jake Matthews, Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M

The Rams have a QB who is statistically one of the best in the league when not pressured. Problem is, he's pressured a lot. They need to protect him. Matthews is the most polished prospect in the draft and surprises by being taken ahead of Robinson.

3. Jaguars: Khalil Mack, Outside Linebacker, Buffalo

Gus Bradley is a defense-first type of guy. Mack is an elite prospect at the OLB position--he can do everything.

4. Browns: Johnny Manziel, Quarterback, Texas A&M

The Browns are in desperate need of a QB--they have the OL and receiving weapons to go with one. Manziel's dual threat ability is too good to pass up, no matter the cost.

5. Raiders: Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Clemson

The Raiders have a lot of holes outside of quarterback, and will look to fill one here with Watkins. Watkins is a difference maker regardless of the quarterback, and Schaub should be more than enough to utilize him.

6. Falcons: Greg Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Auburn

Similar problem to the Rams: They need to protect their quarterback better. Robinson is arguably the best

7. Buccaneers: Anthony Barr, Outside Linebacker, UCLA

They got Michael Johnson, but they need more. Lovie loves to apply pressure to quarterbacks. Barr is a nice hybrid DE/OLB that could be used to add that necessary pressure.

8. Vikings: Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Louisville

Bridgewater's stock has fallen. He has fallen in the draft. That doesn't make him any less of a great pick, though.

9. Bills: Taylor Lewan, Offensive Tackle, Michigan

Lewan is a rising prospect, and a very good OT--arguably the best in the draft minus his off the field issues. Similar to the Vikings last year, they need to protect their first round QB from injury and give him time to develop.

10. Lions: Odell Beckham, Wide Receiver, LSU

The Lions need a #2 next to Megatron. Evans might be the #2 prospect, but he's a deep threat--they need a speedster. An offensive weapon. Beckham can be that weapon.

11. Titans: Ryan Shazier, Outside Linebacker, Ohio State

Shazier is a rising prospect. The Titans desperately need OLB. They'll reach for Shazier here.

12. 49ers: Mike Evans, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

TRADE!! The 49ers trade their #30, #56, #94, and #129 picks for the Giants #12 pick.

Looking to move ahead of all the other WR-hungry teams (including division rival Rams), SF moves up to take the second best available receiver. They need more solid targets for Kaepernick--especially a big bodied deep threat like Evans to couple with Crabtree.

TRADE!

13. Rams: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Free Safety, Alabama

The Rams desperately need help at Safety. Clinton-Dix is a plug-and-play Safety who will make an impact day one.

14. Bears: Calvin Pryor, Free Safety, Louisville

The Bears also desperately need help at Safety. Even if they can't get Clinton-Dix, their Safeties are so bad they'll take Pryor here.

15. Steelers: Darqueze Dennard, Cornerback, Michigan State

They need help at CB--fortunately none have been taken so far, so they get their pick. Dennard is a physical corner who fits with LeBeau's defense.

16. Cowboys: RaShede Hageman, Defensive Tackle, Minnesota

Hageman is physical and has HUGE potential. He literally has the perfect body for a DT. He'll go earlier than expected here.
