Round 1

17. Ravens: Kelvin Benjamin, Wide Receiver, Florida State

The Ravens are lacking at red zone threats and 6'5 Kelvin Benjamin may very well be their answer. With speed demons Steve and Torrey Smith, they need that Calvin Johnson-like Wide Receiver.

18. Jets: Odell Beckham, Wide Receiver, LSU

The Jets need another receiving weapon besides Decker, who may get blanketed by their division rivals stud Cornerbacks. Beckham seems to be the best option at this point, although, the phenomenal TE Eric Ebron may be difficult to pass up.

19. Dolphins: Zack Martin, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

With Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito out, the Dolphins will need to fill that void with the best lineman available.

20. Cardinals: C.J. Mosley, Outside Linebacker, Alabama

Cardinals lost a lot of help at the linebacker position, and should really think hard about getting the best linebacker on the board to fill the void. I think they mold Mosley into an outside linebacker here.

21. Packers: Calvin Pryor, Free Safety, Louisville

Packers were easy to beat deep last year and will have to address that early in the draft if they want to seriously improve that. They will need an immediate playmaker if they want to "attempt" to stop Megatron two times a year.

22. Eagles: Kyle Fuller, Cornerback, Virginia Tech

The Eagles are real shaky at the Cornerback position with injuries and sub-par play by their current DB's. There's a lot of debate on who the top corners are in this draft but i think Fuller's stock has risen.

23. Chiefs: Eric Ebron, Tight End, North Carolina

Alex Smith is a low risk QB, who doesn't often take chances down the field, but with Eric Ebron, it might help Smith feel more secure.

24. Bengals: Dee Ford, Outside Linebacker, Auburn

Michael Johnson left a big hole on the Bengals Dline when he went to the Bucs, so i can imagine them taking Dee Ford here, who is the next best DE after Clowney and Ealy, but he is definitely 1st round talent. He will go from being a Tiger to a Bengal.

25. Chargers: Timmy Jernigan, Defensive Tackle, Florida State

Chargers are dry at their DT/NT spot and the first thing you need to have a disruptive defensive line is a dominating interior player and Jernigan is just that,

26. Browns: Xavier Su'a-Filo, Offensive Guard, UCLA

With the Browns acquiring a rookie QB, they should do their best to protect them and if Mack leaves they will definitely need to do their best a fill his spot, and could possibly try to convert Yankey into a C.

27. Saints: Marqise Lee, Wide Receiver, USC (Southern California)

Saints love spreading the field with 4, sometimes 5 wide receivers and they lost their potential deep threat Lance Moore, so they will most likely want to give Drew Brees another weapon.

28. Panthers: Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver, Oregon State

Drafting a constant playmaking WR is a MUST for the Carolina Panthers because they are as thin as a paper bag at the receiver position. Releasing Steve Smith was a huge mistake for them and for their team's success sake, they better find a solid replacement.

29. Patriots: Louis Nix, Nose Tackle, Notre Dame

Vince Wilfork is 32, had an achilles tear last season, and wanted to be cut from the team. This a sign that they may need to look for a young big guy to be his successor. Nix like Wilfork, has a huge body and will be a force on that defensive line.

30. 49ers: Jason Verrett, Cornerback, TCU

Jim Harbaugh is all about defense and he is always looking for ways to make sure it's the strongest point of their game. When it comes to their defense the branch that could use the most improvement is secondary. They lost Whitner but signed Bethea as his replacement and they lost Carlos Rogers and although he didn't necessarily leave a void, it would be good to add depth.

31. Broncos: Chris Borland, Inside Linebacker, Wisconsin

This may be a reach but people are sleeping on Borland. He's the second coming of Zach Thomas. He's an old school wrap up tackler who stops ball carriers in their tracks and has the ability to good sideline to sideline. Broncos need better play from their Inside position, Paris Lenon is a grandpa in the NFL and Woodyard went to the Titans.

32. Seahawks: Stephon Tuitt, Defensive End, Notre Dame

Seahawks lost a lot of muscle on their D-Line with Clemons,Bryant, and O' Schofield gone. If Carroll wants to retain his #1 ranked defense he should start by reinforcing the defensive line.

Vikes draft:

Teddy Bridgewater: I'll give you an A- since Mack is still there. The Bucs pass rush sucked, they won't pass on Mack.  The Vikings LB needs are on par with their QB needs, so doubly so they would never pass on Mack. But I'd be giddy with Bridgewater, even with all his draft stock tumbling, if Mack is gone.

Jimmie Ward: C+ He's good, and I get the reasoning that we need a safety across from Harrison Smith.  But I'm telling you, I will be shocked if the Vikings draft a safety at all, or at least before the sixth round.  The Vikings have six safeties on contract right now. Jamarca Sanford is pretty average, which is better than the rest of the D, and we just signed Kurt Coleman.  The C+ is more for the prediction aspect of it than the value aspect.

Tre Mason: B- Ouch, quite too high for a RB. The Vikes had a putrid defense, and moving that monstrous point aside, they need a guard worse than a running back on offense.  Mason might be the best back in this draft, but there are just way too many needs before a backup to AD.

Marcus Smith: B+ Ok, now we're talking. The Vikes finally get some LB help.

Martavis Bryant: C+ Bryant is a great prospect, but he won't be there and the Vikes have bigger needs. If this somehow happened, I'd be ok with it just for the talent.

Dominique Easley: C  I'm a Gator fan too, so I'd love it to happen, but Easley won't be there. Also, the need at DE for the Vikes is a bit overblown. They have Griffen, Robison, and Wootton already.

Dede Lattimore: C- meh on top of meh, Audie Cole and Mike Mauti are already better than this guy.  Not a D or F only because the need is so great.

Travis Carrie: D  who?

You need to get us an ILB and a corner across from Xavier Rhodes much earlier, and a guard somewhere would be nice.

No way Mack gets past Tampa. I hope you're right about my Vikings taking Bridgewater and somebody forcing us to not take Bortles.

Well, if you're going to insult me and assume I did not do any research (which I have) then at least post up a link to your mock draft. Haven't you ever heard you can't believe everything you see or hear on TV? I've watched Jadeveon play, seen game film on him, and watched his combine and pro day. In each of the last two things he did EVERYTHING asked of him. Not to mention he did them at full speed, with what seemed while other guys were struggling to catch their breath.

"Really bad mock" LOL, good joke brah.

Really bad mock... I don't understand why everyone has rams taking an OT at #2 when their need is clearly a guard, get your facts straight Dante Robinson is not the best pass blocker as you stated he's known to need a lot of work in that department. The rams will almost surely trade the pick and if not they will draft Watkins. Also Mack will not fall out of the top 6 most likely going to the jags at #3 if not, then raiders at #5, or falcons at #6 on top of that you have him falling past the Vikings pure ludicrous.

Chiefs won't go TE.  They got Anthony Fasano, Sean McGrath, and Travis Kelce.  Not sexy names but all capable players.  Adding a young shiny TE is exciting but they have more pressing needs.  OL, S, WR, DE, & MLB.  They lost 3 starting OL, S, DE, & a WR in FA.  Sanders Cummings might make up for the lost safety, Niko Johnson could fill the MLB, and they picked up a DE in FA though not sure if he's a starter in their system.  Kelce missed his rookie year due to injury and could make a big splash this season.

Okay, so now for Arizona you have C.J. Mosley at 20, Cyrus Kouandjio at 52 and McCarron at 84, 3 guys who are neither BPA or fit a high priority need.  I still dont get it.  Mosley is a small ILB, not really a guy who projects can also play OLB AND give you a speed rush, where AZ has a huge need after losing Dansby.

Doesnt make sense they'll go OL at 52, what with Cooper coming back, Veldheer added and Winston waiting in the wings to sign for cheap if Massie or Sowell dont establish themself at RT.  But the craziest pick continues to be "hs-body, average-armed, no velocity" McCarron, especially with "robo-cop body, got-a-gun, and I can put it anywhere if I get my feet set" Mettenberger available, an almost prototypical Arians qb.

As I said last time, AZ's biggest need is at safety, where they need a tall guy, fast enough to cover either TEs or RBs, ideally Clinton-Dix (if he falls) or Bucannon, but once you get past them, I wonder if anyone they might pick up (Terrance Brooks, Ed Reynolds or your pick Dion Bailey at 116) would be any better than Tony Jefferson, who looks 10-15 lbs bigger and faster than last year.

I think AZ might look at Kadeem Carey at 116 - not blazing ability, but amazing heart, exceptional vision and instincts.  He is Emmitt Smith reincarnated, and this from an Arizona State graduate.

First let me say that Allen Robinson will not make it out of the second round.  He will be one of the first WR's to go off the board in hte second round and some have him going off in the first round.  Anyway I can not argue with Gilbert inthe first round, as I feel he offers the best upside of the players you have left on the draft board at that point without trades.  The second round the Lions will not take a one trick pony who disappeared in big games and getting hype over shorts workout.  They will go with a WR in your draft Matthews or Robinson.  In the third round in your draft the DE from Clemson Free would be the choice as he is very athletic and played big in big games.  He is very quick and fast and has shown he can drop into coverage.. A center can wait until the fourth round where you have three picks.

Awesome draft for the Bills. Great scenario if Mack falls to #9 and I think James is an excellent fit and steal for the Bills in round 3. This gets an A.

Another horrible lions mock.

You don't take CBs in the top 10 unless they're Patrick Peterson/Darelle revis/Joe Hayden, neither gilbert nor dennard are anywhere close to that level.

Attaouchu in the second is  another crap pick, one trick pony who doesn't fit the defense. That pick would be much better spent on WRs like davante Adams or jordan matthews, or, failing that, Jimmie ward/kyle van noy.

Weston richburg in the 3rd is a stretch, considering he'd probably still be around in the 4th....center, despite what some say, isn't an extremely pressing need. Raiola just came off a probowl-type year and reupped for another. Would rather go S/WR here, whichever position wasn't addressed in the second...

As a Vikings fan, I'm confused. First, if Mack is somehow there at 8, they're announcing their pick while 7 is still on the stage. I think Buc goes over Ward in general, but especially to us. Lastly, 3 of our first 4 picks on O. One of them a RB!? I could probably live with 96 because the value would be so good, but our D is too terrible to draft that much O early.

Skatpoonz,

Don't be a jackass, just because you don't like the picks. I'd like to see your ALL-MIGHTY, PERFECT Mock Draft. a) The picks do make some sense if you closely analyze the needs of each team, even if some of the picks are a little bit of a stretch, and b) Being a Lions fan has nothing to do with anything. It's not like he's showing bias in the mock draft.

Lifetime Lions fan here. I like your draft over all..I think the Raiders go rouge...they usually screw the draft up, but I don't have a direction they'll go. I think the Lions are too vested with last year's cb crop and those usually need a year or two to pan out. Soooo with Matthias's resigning and the Lions in "win now" mode I believe they are going to make a hard run at Watkins. I'd rather see them go after which ever lb.best fits us in their minds. We'll see...may the force of Mayhew be with us..lol;-)

Dante-interesting selections.  Overall not a bad draft (I'm giving you  B-).  From the perspective of  Charger's fan I thought I'd add my perspective-I hope you will find it useful in your future MD's.

1) I'm curious as to why you have the Chargers valuing Timmy Jernigan over Louis Nix.  Yes, you are correct San Diego needs some DL help but I believe Nix makes for an ideal fit in our 3-4 scheme.

2) I personally feel Van Noy is a second round lock.  The Chargers in particular have expressed heavy interest in him-so much to the degree it would not shock me if we traded up in the second round to ensure we get him (as we did with Teo).

3) I would be shocked if the Chargers did not draft a CB within the first three rounds.

I am another Arizona fan, I am not Doc.

I like our first round pick, Mosley adds a key piece to our defense as our ILB situation is a injury away from being a complete mess, mixed with the fact that we don't have the best talent there at the start of the season it is a smart pick to have Mosley.

as for our second round pick... im mixed, he has a high bust/boom potential so it is defiantly a risk

I dislike our 3rd round pick, I dislike both Mett and McCarron, and honestly I don't think we need a QB in this draft, we already have 3 guys that our coach praised for their ability to take the horns of the team. id g Ahmad Dixon with this pick

Not a fan of your Arizona picks.  AZ has a big hole at safety: Dix, if he falls or Bucannon would be ideal. AZ also needs LBs with speed who can cover, what with Minter supposedly moving Dansby's spot. Van Noy would be ideal, Bradford has incredible potential and is a home town boy. Both have the frame & size to play ILB/OLB.

Picking McCarron ahead of Mettenberger makes no sense.  Zach is the protypical Arians qb, arm strength, accuracy, size. Reports are out that McCarron came of with some character defects in interviews. Besides, I doubt either falls to the 3rd. Don't like Shazier in the 1st either.  OSU's D was horrific this year, has been for a while now. His stats have come vs bad teams, when it didn't count. IMO Shazier screams bust. Offseason signings and coverage by local reporters strongly suggests they wont be going after any OL in Rds 1-4. After his pro day, Cyrus K likely isn't there at 52.   Best case scenario for AZ: 1 - Dix, 2 - Van Noy, 3 - Bradford.
